My wife ordert a CABIN here for 2 nights for about 1750 SEK. It was in the basement - without windows! But that was the only drawback, the advantages of it: modern room with aircondition, silent (no background noise from the streets), free wireless access for my laptop and darkness for sleeping :-) Breakfast was average - nothing special ...... more

We booked this hotel at an excellent price of £40 a night for a family of 4 sharing a family suite. We didn't know quite what to expect, but the room was very clean and reasonably spacious. The Scandic Malmen is in a residential area of Stockholm and very lively. It is a large hotel but check in was fast and friendly. It does not deserve an above average rating. I have stayed at many hotels in Stockholm and I was very disappointed with this hotel. We paid quite a lot to stay there £279 for 2 nights for 3 & for that we got a tiny room that was too hot, rude & unhelpful staff, claustrophobic lifts & an acceptable breakfast.... more
