One of my friend told me "If you visit stockholm, you must stay in the old town.", so here we are, stayed for 1 night @ Lord Nelson Hotel. This hotel locate in the very heart of the old town where most historic sites are within walking distance, and also you can get to the train station by walk, take... More

narrowest hotel in sweden, and size of single room testifies. . however, it was cutely designed as a ship's cabin, and functioned well. The location is very good, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. Only take up the offer of the roof top views if you are brave. . . better people watching from the front windows :)

Behind the narrowest frontage of any hotel in Stockholm lies a little gem. Great location in the old town, walking distance to most attractions and lots of cafés, and very friendly helpful staff. Our room was small but very comfortable and quiet, breakfast good.

The rooms are very clean and the old building itself makes this Hotel very charming. But do not expect to much. Inside it's very modest: old carpets, old furniture and very narrow rooms and stairs. I travelled for business and would still recommend it.

i have been booking this hotel due to the many good reviews i read- which was a mistake. Really the only good thing I can say about the hotel is its location- and the potential what could be done with such a gem, situated right in the heart of the old town of Stockholm. As many other reviewers already mentioned,... More

Hej hochrot, We were really sad to read about your experiences during the visit at Lord Nelson Hotel and we do apologize for any inconvenience caused. The rooms at the Lord Nelson are small, cabin rooms, as the hotel is constructed like a ship. But there also rooms of various sizes and facing different streets, so whenever possible we try... More

The word quirky is used a lot to describe this hotel, but quaint is better. It's quirky because everything is small - the rooms are very tiny, hallways, staircases very narrow, small reception and breakfast area. But the location is perfect - right on the main tourist street in old town, Vasterlanggatan. Price is very reasonable for Stockholm. I use... More

What a fortunate discovery this hotel was. If you love great location, good service and something a little different when you travel, this is it. Set in Stockholm's Old Town right in the thick of it all is the narrowest hotel in Stockholm. Filled with amazing pieces of Nelson related antiques and quirky pieces this hotel offers small but comfortable... More

A very pleasant and friend hotel, which look very clean and well kept from the outside as you approach. The reception and lounge area is decorated with a collection of wonderful artefacts for old ships etc. The staff were very warm and welcoming, and eager to help. It's very small though; very, very small - making the room either feel... More

Very quirky and comfortable hotel. Very clean and a very nice breakfast. Very courteous and helpful staff. The single rooms are very small and the bathrooms are extremely small (rooms at the corners of the building have much bigger bathrooms for the same price so ask if they are available). Great location in the old town and a 10 minute... More

My friend and I stayed here for three nights in June. It is a lovely, quirky family run hotel situated right in the middle of Gamla Stan. The staff are very friendly and helpful and all speak perfect English. The hotel is small and crammed full of naval antiques which make it very unique, you are always noticing new things.... More
