This is by far the best hotel in Stockholm. Just about everything is great. From the hotel you have a 20-minute walk next to the water in to the best parts of Stockholm. A walk the other way will take you out on Djurgården witch is one of the best places in the city where you will find parks, museums.... More

My first visit to Stockholm and I stayed at two hotels - Villa Kallhagen and a much more lush, downtown hotel. By far, I enjoyed the smaller, friendlier atmosphere of Villa Kallhagen. When a woman I met on my flight - who knew only my first name and that I was staying at this hotel - send me an email,... More

Villa Källhagen is situated at one of the best spots in Stockholm, by the waters and close to Djurgården. Room was OK, nice design, but the heated floor in the bathroom was cold, and also an opening for the fan in the bedroom was not fixed. Breakfast is comparatively small but OK. Our high points are motivated by the situation.

A lovely small hotel situated close to the centre of Stockholm, situated in a beautiful park. Very peaceful and quiet, ideal for families or people who want to be close to nature. I would certainly recommend this hotel for my friends and family.

My Family and I enjoyed it very much, especially the quiet location nearby the water. Breakfast was excellent and enough and served in a comfortable room. The staff were friendly, it was clean everywhere.. The cosmetic products in the bathroom were of high quality. When I come to Stockholm another time I will stay in Villa Källhagen again!!!

Nice hotel in nice surroundings within walking distance from the city center. Beautiful views from rooms and restaurant. A bit chilly in the restaurant (during winter time), but otherwise very cosy and good service.

Villa Källhagen is a very special destination for us, as we had our wedding there in 2010. We try to go there on anniversary's and on this occasion was a well needed get away retreat for my wife an I. It brings alot of important memories for us and we enjoy the nostalgic feeling we get when we are there.... More

A perfect place to relax. With great food. Wonderful surroundings and excellent and personal service. Sleeping in quiet well furnished rooms and topping it off with a great tasting drink by the open fireplace.

Great, huge room / suite with nice view of the water front. Helpful staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Close to bus stop to the city. We didn't make it to the relax room/ sauna but got a good tasting bottle of champagne instead... Great food in the evening!

Staying in Djurgarden & Djurgardsbrunn

Neighborhood Profile
Djurgarden & Djurgardsbrunn
The island of Djurgården and its northern mainland extension, Djurgårdsbrunn, impress with a mix of nature and an abundance of museums, while being located in walking distance to Stockholm’s city center. Djurgården not only invites visitors to take endless walks through a beautiful park landscape without having to leave the city, but also offers an incredible range of entertainment facilities, such as an open air museum which specializes in the Swedish way of life pre-industrialization, the renowned Vasa Museum with its legendary sailing ship, and Sweden’s most famous amusement park Gröna Lund, which is more than a 100 years old.
