We have stayed here for both business and holyday. The hotel works great for both. The rooms are supercool, and seems to be newly renovated. Personally I liked all the books in the room and everywhere else in the hotel. One thing I didn`t like: the rooms are a bit small. Breakfast is ok+. Best thing about this hotel in... More

I have recently returned from a long weekend in Stockholm where I stayed at the Mornington Hotel. We had a superior room which was quite small but nicely decorated, a good bathroom and nice additions - chocolates, fizzy water, good teas and nice bath products, plus robes and slippers. Building work is taking place outside the hotel and ear plugs... More

Cosy atmosphere with all the books. Situated in a nice neighboorhood, close to the subway and although not the most centrally located hotel it's within walking distance to the center of the city. The tea and coffee tray with the fruit was a nice bonus. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was stylish and clean although not the most functional.... More

This is a fine boutique hotel in the heart of Stockholm. The best part of it is that it's not the 'same old, same old' that you get at most chain hotels. The interior with book cases throughout (also in rooms) makes the interior cool; otherwise the design is modern. My room for two people was tiny for even one... More

As always, much time is spent researching hotels on Tripadvisor and websites and the Mornington did not disappoint. It is centrally located with an underground station within 50 yards of its entrance if exhausted after sightseeing! The surrounding area is pleasant with two excellent restaurants directly opposite the hotel - Nybrogat 38 (need to book) and Piatti. Hotel reception staff... More

Recently returned from a 4 night stay here with partner. Great location in Ostermalm which is seen traditionally as an upmarket district. It's certainly a pleasant area with a few restaurants and cafes and lots of design/interiors shops. There's a supermarket just south of the hotel (on the same street) which is handy. From the hotel it is easy to... More

I stayed here several times for business reasons. I like the location, rooms are average, the breakfast is over average for Swedish standards. The staff is very helpful. Prices are varying a lot. They have a gym and a small sauna (not in the standard price included). The bar and the sitting facilities are very cosy. More

The hotel had an intimate library decor that was carried right into the guest rooms. We had a 'superior room' that was small (as typical in any large city hotel) but it had good space planning, lovely modern decor and was very comfortable. Good mattress, smooth sheets and nice towels. Selection of tea and chocolates were left everyday on a... More

Beautiful hotel well located in Stockholm (within walking distance of almost everything). They are books everywhere and the room was very comfy and well decorated. Amazing breakfast buffet and helpful staff. Free access to sauna and a gym. More
