Very content with this hotel... Sabina has been wonderful and recommend us the best places to go, restaurants and bars. I love that the hotel is extremely clean, is in a great location and the prices aren't steep. Breakfast was great and above all, I enjoyed their all-day coffee/tea, juice, milk, fruit, yoghurt, pastries and cereal bar. It's great to... More

I was in Sweden for a concert at the Tele2 Arena and needed somewhere that was close to a Metro station so access to the arena and getting to and from the airport. I arrived a little late into Stockholm and got the airport bus to Stockholm centre the metro was a 5 minute walk - I received a text... More

The room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was shared but always available and very clean. The breakfast was great and they have free treats in the kitchen all day. Only a short walk from a tram station. The best thing about this place was the super nice and friendly staff! Will definitely stay here... More

A recent 4 day stay in central Stockholm at this hotel was very enjoyable. The owners, Scott and Clara, have set things up like a very friendly B&B. The rooms are large, clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast included lots of treats like fresh fruit, pastries and the usual eggs, sausage, cereal, etc. Best of all, the location is right... More

Great hosts and large clean rooms in an easy to reach location in Sodermalm, a five minute walk from the Subway. If you are a Stig Larsen fan, this place puts you in the center of his novels. Scott and Clara, the owners, have created a bed and breakfast atmosphere.

The entry downstairs didn't look very promissing, but once i reached the entrance of the hotel itself, I founf this hotel to be clean and cozy. My room was small, but very cheap and excellent value for money as a tasty breakfast was included. Only downside to this place: the floor boards and the doorlocks are a bit noisy, so... More

Lovely charming hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are very large, clean and comfortable and cosy. Except for one room we managed to get rooms with attached bathrooms, but even the shared bathroom was not that much of problem as long as one is used to share the bathrooms. The 24 hour availability of snacks was great.... More

First let's make one thing clear,I'm not giving 5 stars for vallet parking, room service, large luxury rooms or anything like that. I'm giving 5 stars for Clara,Sabina and all the other wonderful persons who make Hornsgatan the place it is. Service and atmosphere are above any other place. Everytime (been here 3 times) I feel like I'm visiting good friends or... More

This is a charming, personal hotel. The staff is friendly and go out of their way to help you. The breakfast was ample, and it was lovely having a snack available 24 hours a day. Staying in Mariatorget

Neighborhood Profile
Mariatorget
This rather quiet neighborhood revolves around a postcard-like park with a dramatic fountain in its center and is definitely one of Stockholm’s showcase neighborhoods. Mariatorget, a central residential area, is the best Stockholm has to offer when it comes to juxtaposing architectural masterpieces with sophisticated art galleries, coffee shops and bars. Stockholmers love to spend their weekends in the park or one of the nearby coffee shops, so come to Mariatorget to meet the locals. The northern part of Mariatorget boasts historic buildings, beautiful cobblestone streets, and one of Stockholm’s best observation decks, Monteliusvägen, from where you can see an amazing view of the city hall and Stockholm’s old town.
