I love the old house which provides a unique historic feel .The only thing I did not like was that the toilet was in the hallway .But the second time I stayed here I had toilet in the room they feel important.

The hotel is under refit and as I've checked-in I was assigned a room in a different building round the same corner...very souspicious....The place was sort of "working in progress" and the bathroom in the room was smelly. I've complained at the reception and they told me they were fully booked and I should have to change room twice (my... More

I stayed at this hotel mid February for two days and was sorely disappointed. While the building itself is in good condition and they seem to maintain it, the cleanliness is awful. We have stayed at a number of budget places and this had by far been the most un enjoyable. The bed we had stank like dirty gym socks... More

I stayed in this hotel for New Years and don't regret my decision at all :) Booked a one bed room and for the price I payed got a decent sized room with a comfy bed, small wardrobe and even a sofa :) The staff was extra nice and allowed me to check in at noon already so I could... More

Positives: 1- Centrally located in Gamla Stan 2- Receptionist was (sort of) nice lady Negatives 1- Not clean, the room is smelly, its not aired since long long time. I tended to keep the windows open all the day long in order to be able to sleep, and it didnt work. Bed and covers were smelly. 2- No roomservice, and... More

Stayed in a dorm room in July 2014 for two nights. Room was musty, no ventilation, no natural light, and half the lights in the room didn't work either. It had a very bad smell unlike anything I've experienced before (as if it was coming from the walls, not from a person or any body's belongings). When we complained to... More

We spent 1 week in this hostel. This is the worst, I have seen. The showers are horrible, full of hair, dirt, and other things. They don't really clean the showers. We are lucky, we didn't catch anything.

The location of the Hostel is quite excellent in the middle of the old town and everything was functioning properly. With a 24h/reception there was no problem with checking in and out. The breakfast was simple, but since it is included in the price you can't really complain. The wifi was working fine most of the time. I stayed in... More

Not a recommended place to stay. I took a bunk in the 28 bed dorm. That floor was equipped of one bathroom, namely one toilet and one shower for 28 guests. I decided to shorten my stay there and took a cabin at the youth hostel/boat across the street.

We just left here so this is fresh in my mind. We stayed in room 211, a private double with en suite so we had no problems with shared bathrooms or cleanliness in the dorms. The room was quiet overlooking the side alley. I thought it was overpriced for what it was but it included breakfast and Stockholm is expensive... More
