I stay here most months. The hotel is near my company's office in Stockholm. This is a big business style hotel attached to an enormous ice hockey arena. Located only a few minutes walk from the Globen tube stop, this hotel offers excellent value for your money. Staff here are very friendly and we were offered a free upgrade, which was always a bonus! I booked this hotel because everything else was already booked or very expensive. Now I can tell I'd rather have paid a little more in other area of the city. Hotel is not bad, but I'd recommend it only if you are traveling for bussiness, not as a tourist. It's a bit far from the center (impossible to go walking).... more

Stayed here one night with the lady and a few friends. obviously great location for the globe itself and was a 10 minute "metro" ride into the centre. nice breakfast and a good jacuzzi and sauna top floor. IKEA clearly had a hand in the room furniture with the sofa and set up. good place. more

Stayed for two nights at the Globe. Accomodation is clean and good, even for single-room. It's direct surroundings are not worth a stroll. Take the Flygbus at Arlanda or Arlanda Express to T-Centralen. This takes appr. 50 minutes by bus. Change for subway (T19) on T-Centralen and head for direction Hagsatra. Stop at Globe. I would recommend the hotel except for the fact that there's about 50 steps down to the hotel from the Globe underground stop. The only way to avoid the steps is to go through the Globen shopping centre and head down towards the ICA supermarket by either using the lift or escalators to avoid the steps outside the hotel. The hotel is situated 10 minutes from Stockholm central station using the subway. I was there on business and also had meetings in the hotel. Meeting facilities are good.
