I stayed here in the summer of 2014 en route to a choir competition in Latvia, with my choir of 73. We had spacious rooms with 6 beds (bunks) and bathrooms en suite. Free wifi was also available. The place is lovely, clean, secure and well run. We had a presumably free breakfast, or included in the fee, but that... More

It's a small hostel, with a very good location; close to the central station and almost everything. The prices are reasonable since we're on a student's budget. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are comfortable and everything about the hostel was just perfect. It made our stay in Stockholm even better than expected 👍🏼😍

We stayed four nights in a family room with private bathroom (although no windows, it wasn't claustrophobic). The room was clean and quiet, beds were comfortable and bathroom also very neat and clean (it has not shower curtain and it gets a bit messy but it was just a detail). The kitchen is a great facility, too. It's big, modern... More

Nice hotel, but the room was without window, kinda weird. And it would be cool to say before that the laundry is not included in the reservation. The hotel is in a good place, next to shops and everything.

The reason I stay at hostels rather than hotels is because of the invaluable information you receive or the activities put on. Don't get me wrong, the beds in this place were incredibly comfortable and although I wasn't happy about not having any window, really it just meant you slept better. The kitchen and bathroom are both clean and great... More

I usually don't leave reviews unless they are really good or really bad. This place was great. Rooms were very clean and exactly as advertised and the staff was very helpful and friendly. There is even a kitchen area where guest can prepare meals. Grocery store are with walking distance. I highly recommend it.

Really enjoyed my stay at Stockholm hostel...friendly staff, clean, fully equipped kitchen available to all guests and also good location...the only downside of our room was that it was too small there wasn't enough space for me and my boyfriend to open our luggages we had to put them on the beds but still not that bad overall.

I just needed a place to sleep and this place is clean, well looked after and friendly. Not a place to hang out but a comfy nights stay for the night. The price is a bit higher than competition but the cleaniness and location makes up for it. The subway station fridhemsplan is just around the corner.

Hostel as it should be. Nice guys on reception are friendly and smiling, rooms small but clean. Just a nice place for night stands and walking around Stockholm. Alcohol and food in rooms are forbidden, for breakfast there is a kitchen with coffee machine (20 SEK). Overall impression is good, but we had windows looking just onto the street and... More

Staying in Kungsholmen

Neighborhood Profile
Kungsholmen
Kungsholmen is one of the largest islands in central Stockholm and one of the most popular places to live. Its most famous attraction is Stockholm’s City Hall, which stands out with its monumental architecture and is one of the most photographed buildings in Sweden. Kungsholmen has its own little city center and shopping mall, its own beach and a lovely pedestrian area next to the water, which charms both locals and visitors with beautiful little cafés, restaurants and of course an awesome view. This neighborhood is perfect for a relaxed stroll followed by some coffee on a Sunday afternoon.
