The hotel had been very honest about the rooms being small and without windows and the rooms were very clean and everything was very nice. But I will never stay at a hotelroom again without windows. The aircondition was not great and in the middle of the night I woke up feeling really sick since the aircondition has been very... More

Thank you for your review! We are sorry that your room was too hot during the night. You probably stayed here while there was a lightening strike that knocked out our ventilation for a while. It's fixed now but we are sorry for the inconvenience, More

I stayed at the hotel for three nights during July with two friends. The hotel is close to the main station and shopping district. The staff were polite although not as friendly as some of the other hotels we stated at during our Scandi trip. Rooms are clean but a bit on the small side. There is an option for... More

Location is excellent. Hotel not perfectly managed welcoming could be better. Rooms tidy but a bit small and if you get the (no window solution) you may feel a bit claustrophobic. Parking is a problem but it is everywhere in Stockholm so nothing new. you can get either train or bus at 100 m so very comfy.

Thank you for your review! We are actually remodeling the lobby and reception-area right now so hopefully you'll find it more welcoming in the future. We do offer our guest parking in the building for the cost of 300SEK per night, we are sorry that the information about that didn't reach you. More

We spent 3 nights at the First Hotel Kungsbron during our time in Stockholm. The room was fine and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately noise could be heard from people walking around upstairs and nearby televisions, however this noise was not loud enough to distract us from sleeping. The highlight of the accommodation was the excellent buffet breakfast that was... More

Not only did the room feel like a prison cell, the bathroom also stank of sewage. Not the best place I have ever stayed in. Did however fall in love a little bit with the silly seventies carpet. Also the location is excellent but next time I will stay in another budget hotel not so far from this location which... More

I've never stayed in a hotel with no windows. It was great for sleeping, but note where the lights are before you turn them out, or keep your phone nearby. My first morning consisted of me feeling my way around a room so dark I could not see my hands, trying to find a switch. The downside of the windowless... More

The location of this hotel is good if you need to stay near railway station/easy connection to airport. But you pay a big price for that, I stayed in a small jail like cell underground with no window. The bed was narrow but comfortable mattress. The long corridors seemed like the ones on ferry ships. the "sort of elevator' broke... More

Thanks for your frank review. I´m sorry to hear your room reminded of a jail cell; certainly the rooms without window may to some feel a bit claustrofobic and perhaps this notion is enhanced by the image of a ferry (an understandable comparasion, given their lenght). I would recommend a room with window, but perhaps that option wasn´t possible during... More

Friendly staff and close to the main bus/train station in Stockholm. Complimentary breakfast buffet which was good. Strange elevator but if you need one it is there. More of a platform that moves up and down. As one reviewer mentioned, he had a room without windows. You do need to pay a little more for a room that has a... More

This is not a hotel for those who intend to visit Stockholm more than a few days. Nice, compact rooms with clean soft beds. The location is perfect and breakfast small but nice. A bit crowded, come early if you want to eat in some peace and quiet.
