Stayed here for four days with four friends and although basic did an excellent job. It has a hostel/hotel vibe but is very clean and has extremely friendly staff that speak excellent English. I can't fault the Micro to be honest. I understand hotels can be pricey in Stockholm and what we got for our money was completely fine. The... More

If you're coming in from the airport on a train or bus, the hotel is only a 15 minute walk from Central Station. There's a slight incline towards the end but it is manageable! It should be known that there is no signage saying that you're at Hotel Micro! It's actually through the lobby entrance of Hotel Tegnerlunden. The rooms... More

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. I didn't think it was going to be very nice when I found out that it had shared bathrooms, but the bathrooms were very clean and usually not very busy. The rooms were tiny but very clean and comfortable. This place is a bit like an up market hostel, it was good for... More

I was under the impression this was a hotel but it's pretty much a hostel. The rooms are tiny as per the title 'Hotel Micro' but they are clean. Toilets/sinks/showers are all shared with other people staying at the hotel which I wasn't made aware of! Walls are thin as my neighbours (most tended to be young) were running around... More

I spent a one night at this hotel and it was mostly okay. Room, bathrooms and showers were very clean. Only problem with the shower was that the water preassure was way too little and very little water came from the shower head. It was like showering under a normal tap. Room was small but okay for one person. Might... More

Very small rooms, without windows and AC. The beds are not comfortable. The shared bathrooms were clean. I would never give this hotel 2 stars, because it's just a basement of some other hotel, and it's actually a hostel. Not worth for the money at all!

Hotel Micro is, as the name suggests, pretty small, but for a cheap stay it could not have been better. My boyfriend and I recently visited Stockholm and had the best time. Stockholm is pretty pricey, and so we felt so much better that Hotel Micro was such good value for money. As we were both so keen to visit... More

The first thing that this hotel doesn't make clear on its website is that it is actually just the basement of another hotel (that management have decided to turn into another "hotel" to make more money, presumably). The only thing to indicate that Hotel Micro is in the same building is a small sign in the window of the main... More

Hotel micro is a 10 minute walk from the train station so the locality is good. However if, like me, you booked through an outside agency and are looking for a big sign saying 'hotel micro' you won't find it as hotel micro is actually the basement of hotel Tegnerlunden, so look for that sign. The rooms are very small... More

Staying in Vasastan

Neighborhood Profile
Vasastan
Vasastan is one of those neighborhoods that almost looks too good to be true. It has the winning combination of a central location, tranquility, and beautiful buildings – housing sophisticated bars and eateries – that makes this neighborhood Stockholm’s most sought-after place to live. If walking through this area makes you feel like walking through a fairy tale or picture book it’s no surprise, as it’s actually the film set of the famous Swedish children story Karlsson-on-the-Roof. No matter what season, Vasastan manages to impress in the sunshine, covered in snow and won’t even lose its charm when soaked in rain.
