We booked a private room which had a shared bedroom and at £81 it wasn't worth the novelty value of sleeping in a decommissioned jumbo. The best points are that breakfast was included as was free wifi. The location is convenient for dropping off a hire car and there's a bus that takes you to the terminal in less than... More

As I didn't land til about midnight, I decided to stay the night here. The free shuttle dropped me off and check in was fast and friendly. I was lucky enough to get av4 bunk dorm to myself. The bathrooms were spotless. Breakfast was good and plentiful for 65 krona. Throw in the novelty of staying in a disused Jumbo... More

We decided to splurge and stay in the cockpit suite, which was 3300 kroner. Given the price, I expected it to be fabulous -- however, while it was super cool, it didn't meet my expectations. The room could use a good cleaning particularly around the controls. Many of the levers and buttons were falling apart. Obviously we knew they were... More

If you have to think about, don't book it. If, like TravelinAlan, it's a no brainer, you will love it. You will be spending the night on a 747, converted to a hotel. What else if there to say. Breakfast included. Make it a "Nike" decision; just do it.

Probably one of the best hotel stays ever!!! Dont think of this just as an 'airport layover' but come earlier to enjoy the actual experience. The Alfa parking shuttle from the airport runs every 10 mins so no problems getting here from the terminal or going back to use the shops. I booked the 'Black Box Suite' at the tail... More

Stayed there because of its close location from the airport due to early morning flight. I ended up having so much fun that I hardly slept .. Lol ! It's what it says it is. A big jumbo jet converted in to a hostel located near the airport. With amenities like a hotel and a breakfast ($) to die for.... More

We loved the Jumbo Stay. The rooms are very small, bathrooms are down the hall, but the Jumbo Stay was great! Theming was excellent with overhead bins, magazine storage for upper bunk, etc. The beds were amazingly comfortable, breakfast started at 3am, and the free airport shuttle is a 2 minute walk. This is perfect for a short stay, but... More

It's an old 747, what else do I need to say? Really interesting place to stay, with helpful, friendly staff. The room and the bathroom was clean. The old business class at the front is now the bar. You can hire the old first class up stairs, including the cockpit. This give you privacy, but it's pricey. The rooms downstairs... More

The facilities were kept clean. The staff were nice. I got really excited when I realized I was actually lying on a bed in a 747!! Kudos to the idea and efforts that made this happen. There was a shuttle bus that took me to the hotel and the airport for free, which was nice. But the operation was kind... More

I was excited by the website photos but it was even better than I imagined. Amir at reception was kind, friendly and very hospitable and made the stay memorable. I had a tour of the jumbo jet as my excitement was quite visible...Amir went beyond the call of duty to make the whole experience amazing. My stay of one night... More
