We stayed here for 2 nights before embarking on a Baltic Sea cruise. Great location, small, friendly but very hip hotel. Soooo much nicer than the stodgey old Grand next door. The great room, which is where the restaurant is, doesn't look like a restaurant, it looks like the movie set of a fabuously chic living room that most people... More

We stayed 2 nights at the Lydmar during our visit to Stockholm. This hotel is perfectly central to everything there is to see and do in Stockholm. My husband and I were able to pretty much get everywhere we wanted to go by foot which was really nice. The hotel is located right up against the Harbor and the old... More

This hotel is stylish and quirky with interesting artwork throughout. The location is good for strolling the waterfront and Old Town. We had a quiet rear facing 'medium' room on a high floor which was perfect given the current construction/renovation activity next door and the lively bar on level 2. The windows opened to let in the evening breeze but... More

For being one of Sweden's best hotel it was a bit disappointing. The rooms were quite good but the service was not as good. Breakfast was nutritious providing home baked bread and different smoothies and more. The hotel is not very big which provides a very cozy feeling.

I stayed here for a few mights and was not very impressed. The rooms are ok however the service is not very good. The room service was a joke. During Christmas Eve they did not even try to give us a table to eat at. Not a very good hotel to visit if you enjoy luxurious hotels.

Lovely small hotel which we like. Breakfast/dining area was very pleasant and breakfast was included and very good. Also had dinner one night and it was good. Great location for seeing the city and great views from the hotel overlooking the canal and the Royal Palace. Lynmar is right between the National Gallery (which is undergoing a major renovation and... More

This a great hotel right on the waterfront and ideally located for accessing the city and the Old Town. We were given a lovely room with harbour views but unfortunately had to ask to move as the bar outside the front of the hotel was very noisy in the evening with DJ's and live music and a party which then... Younger, edgy vibe despite the price point. Good restaurant, plenty of variety on the menu and excellent wines. Hotel is located next to the Grand Hotel (perfect city center location) but is far more intimate. Easy walk to all tourist sites, just across the bridge from Skeppsholmen which makes for an excellent morning walk if you are jet lagged.

I have stayed at this place 3 times now all for business mid week and each has been the same. Brilliant. This place is a very high standard of property and if its designer looks and good service that you're looking for then this place is right up there. The rooms are all a little different but each has been... More

We wanted a small hotel that would be our home for three days at the end of a long trip abroad. The Lydmar had everything we wanted, including a wonderful full breakfast and interesting bar food. There were lots of young people who came for the music and drink at night, and to meet up, perhaps. But, it was perfect... More
