Nice rooms, albeit not entire dust free. Good reception, great location and very soundproof rooms. Shame that the bathrooms had a distinct sewer odor, but that can be tolerated for that price. Recommended for short stays.

This isn't a terrible hostel but it's not great..the rooms are a decent size and beds are comfy but this is really the only good thing about it. Arrived to a room that clearly had not been cleaned in a long time dirty marks across the mirror and dirty floor. However I put this first impression aside and decided to... More

Rooms are basic but I felt at home immetiately. Kitchen is a plus, free pasta, herbs, all the equipment needed. Staff was helpful. Someone had sex in the bed beneath me but I guess that could have happened in any hostel. :) located in the part of Stockholm with a lot of fun stuff for youth.

We had a private room with double bed. Quite expensive for a hostel (80euro the night) but very clean and well designed. kitchen has all the necessary items and clean as well. The room didn't have any window though

Skanstulls Hostel is a quaint property in a great location! It's only steps away from the Skanstull train station, Gamla Stan and other attractions. I had a single room. The whole no window in the room thing took some getting used to but it didn't take away from the experience. I found the front desk staff to be friendly and... More

The hostel: The hostel itself was great, laid out a bit maze like, but you learn it fast. I stayed in an 8 person dorm which was clean and comfortable. There were enough cubby holes for bags. They have a large wall safe for each person which your keycard opens, it can easily fit a normal sized backpack/daybag. The showers... More
