We stayed here in late July 2012. We were here for 6 days as we were visiting family in the area. The hotel was walking distance to everything within the city - the malls, coffee shops, train station, buses and walking around the lake daily was great. Good hotel. Just stayed one night. Nice architecture. I had a large room, the breakfast buffet is large, continental, with lots of choice the restaurant of the hotel is a good option for dinner The pub next door ( possible access from inside the hotel, but a bit a maze ) is very pleasant and lively, even during week days

The hotel is in the city center and near the train station. The breakfast is really great. The only problem is that the rooms are too small. If you are big, you have to ask for a large room otherwise you will have problems sleeping!

I have been staying at this hotel for years and always enjoy the hospitality. Staff is friendly, rooms are very nice and always clean. Bishops Arms is a great place for a drink and pub food. Open when most other places are closed. Best hotel in town and located close to the main street in town.
