What a fabulous place to stay on Eigg. I struck gold. I was picked up at the ferry by Ewan Kirk and his delightful fiancé . They took me to my wonderful accomodation. Made sure that I had everything I needed and also gave me a little trip to the top of the island. Told me places to go and... More

Lageorna is in a beautiful spot on Eigg, overlooking the ocean and the Island of Rum. It's quite a journey to get there! The ferry from Mallaig is a long ride, and then it's a 15 minute jostle from the dock. The ride is arranged in advance with the owner, Sue, and in my case was in a beat up... More

Breathtaking vue, room, meals and feeling so welcome. And good Wales, interesting small museums, Golden eagle, dolphins, gannets, orchids, splendid sunsets, lovely dogs og the most kindly family. An overwhelming beautiful experience. Karen Margrethe Larsen og Ally Banks

We fell in love with the B&B the first time we saw it online and we went for it and booked it on the spot. The communication with sue was very easy and fast. After a few E-Mails we had our room booked. I called on the day before we took the ferry to Eigg to make sure it was... More

We spent 2 nights at Sue's B&B and would be very hard pushed to suggest any way that she could improve it! From the welcome with gluten free biscuits for my friend and fresh milk, to the coffee pots with freshly ground coffee in our rooms we knew we were onto a winner. The towels are thick and super absorbent,... More

Great visit from start to end. The most comfortable bedding I have ever experienced in a B&B, hope Sue wasn't embarrassed when I quizzed her about where she got it all.Dinner and breakfast both lovely food and ambiance overlooking the sunny sea to brooding Rum. Check out the Singing sands, they are about 20 mins hike and although not in... More

We really enjoyed our stay here at Lageorna on Eigg. The Scottish breakfast was perfect, even the black pudding! Sue is a great host and even better cook. We had salmon with a leek cream sauce, and home made bread and scones with bramble berry jam! Her family helps out and they are all very nice people. Nice clean room... More

Thank you for your lovely review! We are very glad that you enjoyed your trip to Eigg & your stay at Lageorna. Storonoway black pudding is very tasty - we're glad you liked it! We are lucky to have some excellent hand made beds from the Isle of Rum - so it's nice to know that you appreciated them! We... More

It is sad to see this excellent bed and breakfast getting a couple of bad reviews. We had a really wonderful time staying here, and felt that the very hard working Sue Kirk and her family did all they could to help us during our stay. Her food is supreme and the comfort and cleanliness of the bedroom is without... More

We were very much looking forward to staying at Lageorna guest house on Isle of Eigg. I had made the booking in January to stay for three nights and had spoken to Sue the owner who confirmed my booking and accepted my deposit. When my sister and I arrived at the ferry terminal we were met by Sue's husband, he... More

Firstly we would like to apologise for the double booking. It was completely our fault, and we can assure you it very rarely happens. We tried our very best to rectify the situation as soon as we were aware of it. We are very sorry there was a mix up with the address on the letter, we can only apologise... More

We were really looking forward to our stay at Lageorna, especially as we were to share it with some ladies we had met at our B&B on Canna. However, when we arrived at the pier (where Alistair kindly came to pick us all up), we were informed that there was a double booking, so basically it was us or them!... More

I'm very sorry to hear that you found your stay at Lageorna disappointing. The issue with the double bookings, was completely our fault, however we did pre-arrange other accommodation for the two ladies. We also gave them £50 off their stay at Kildonnan. I can assure you this is not a recurrent issue, and rarely happens, if at all. The... More
