Hotel has recently been refurbished. Rooms are in good condition with large LCD TV, wireless acces everywhere. breakfast was typically Swedish type buffet, but the scrambled eggs was not recommended. staff multi lingual & helpful. parking under hotel at extra cost. Although finding a place to park in Kalmar centre isn't too difficult you have to pay up to 3pm,... more

Me and my boyfriend spent two nights in Kalmarsund Hotell in the beginning of august. At the first glance, the hotel seemed a bit disappointing. The hotel has probably seen its best days. Especially the room we got was rather dull and the bathroom was a bit out of style. (I think there were some renovations going on, though) But... more

Best Western hotel in the nice Baltic Sea town of Kalmar, South East Sweden. There is a small bar and restaurant etc. but hotel is in the middle of the town so there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Typical standard Scandinavian bedrooms, two single beds pushed together, bathroom with shower only, also onsite parking. Good Wireless network throughout the bedrooms... more
