A good, basic hotel, very convenient to Triangeln station, the very large nearby shopping mall and the Opera. No frills, but clean and comfortable. A bathtub as well as a shower, which I appreciate. Good breakfast. I would happily stay there again.

I got to Malmo late on a Friday night and I had to walk to the hotel. It's a pretty little city but it turns out that I walked in the back door to the hotel. The rear side of the building was a little underwhelming but when I walked in side it looked great. The guy at the reception... More

Parking was a pain since the hotel parking is tiny and couldn't fit our relatively small SUV. The hosts were friendly and nice. The bedding could use some updating, as well as decor. Decent restaurants close by.

We were going on a Baltic cruise out of Copenhagen at the end of May 2013. We intended in stay in Copenhagen for two nights. The room prices in town were very expensive. Malmo is a short train ride and you can get a pass that lets you ride the buses as well for a very reasonable cost. Our room... More

Teaterhotellet is a very nice small hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly and nice to chat with. The hotel was clean, if a little dated. That said, it was still quite charming (almost kitsch, in a nice way). Our beds were very comfy and the bathroom clean and with a good shower. Breakfast was good too: DIY waffles... More

We booked here because it was close to the city center, at a good price, with onsite parking. The parking garage was TINY! Our room was clean, and breakfast was plentiful. The official entrance is on a quiet street, with another door leading to a major road. Unfortunately, the address you are given is for the major road, which is... More

Put simply don't stay here. You will be disappointed. The beds felt like 1000 ladies or gentlemen of the night had done there work in them. The breakfast was awful The decor was disgusting. If you're traveling on the cheap you could do better.
