Location is bad. The hostel is clean. But when we were there there did seem to be a lot of people (families) living in the hostel, it was very strange and we were not at all comfortable, we would never stay here again.

Myself and two friends stayed here for 2 nights. Stayed in 18 bed dorm. No space for bags. Room smelt, very strange atmosphere in room and hostel. We were the only females in the room/hostel (that we saw). We were informed by another guest that the hostel was also used as a homeless shelter. Probably not great for solo travellers...... More

My girlfriend and I were in Malmo for a week to watch a hockey tournament. As such we were looking for a reasonably priced option to spend those nights. We found it in Rut O Ragnars. While I will agree with some of the other commenters that it is far away from the town centre, it is directly on a... More

Haven't travelled that much so really can't call myself an expert on the hostel judgement but this place was weird! The staff itself were friendly enough and the hostel was clean and well set out (we were in the eighteen bed dorm) but it is not a very nice place. It's quite far from the city centre which wouldn't matter... More

We stayed at Rut Ragnars Hostel for one night paying £51 with two single beds and a shared bathroom booked through Hostel World (we booked late so it may be cheaper if organised). The price seemed expensive for what you get but all accommodation in Malmo was expensive. When we checked in we found out about a few hidden charges... More

Student discount available. I stayed for two nights in January in the 8 bed female dorm, the first night there were 4 of us, the second night only 2 of us - nice and quiet! This is definitely not a party hostel, there were families with children staying in other rooms. Wonderful beds - private reading lamps and curtains that... More

I stayed in Malmo for two nights over New Year with friends - largely because we found several hostels in Copenhagen had been booked out! Ultimately the hostel was fine for what we needed - a comfortable place to sleep. I stayed in a four person room, which was clean and in good condition. It also had several kitchens, and... More

We stayed here 2 nights and I would go back to the same hostel. The room is not really big but nice and clean. We had 2 beds but we could place them together. Also little table and 2 chairs. When we arrived someone showed us around and staff is friendly and helpfull. Enough showers and toilets for all the... More

We spent there our last night before we traveled back to Budapest. Nice small rooms, good, fully equiped kitchen, unfortunately not all of the guests like to keep it clean. For an average breakfast you need to pay an extra (bread, ham, cheese, jam, cornflakes, coffe, tea). Also you need to pay for sheets, and cleaning (or you can do... More

Me and my friends stayed here for one night. It's cheap but you have to pay for bedlinen or bring your own. The rooms are huge with plenty of bunk beds and safety lockers, though you had to pay for the lockers if you wanted to use them. There's earplugs to use if you need those. The bunk beds are... More
