We went to this hotel on the recommendation from a friend and stayed for 4 days with a 3 year old child. We just thought everything was great. We had a quaint room overlooking the park, and while the bathroom is small it was okay for the 3 of us. Our room also had a new flat screen TV and... more

The hotel dates back to 1899 and is Lund’s oldest hotel. We had a spacious room with a comfortable bed, but with no air-conditioning so it got quite hot during the night. The bathroom was big and quite recently renovated. The breakfast was excellent with a lot to choose among. The hotel has a nice bar and restaurant and a... more

This hotel is located within a 5 minute walk from the main train station in Lund, but be warned that some of the walk is over rough cobblestones which can be a pain with luggage (I think the cabbies at the station would balk at driving you there as it's so close). there are a few stairs between the street... more

Stayed there several times. It´s an old fashioned traditional European style hotel with a lot of character. Thus every room is a bit different, so ask at check-in what the best available is (the tower rooms are especially nice). The staff is typically Swedish - cool, calm, collected-so don´t expect VIP treatment, like bell-boys, etc. You generally have to ASK for... more

Very grand late 19th century hotel. Good, if a little frosty service. Clean well decorated room. Excellent breakfast. Only a few flaws: The bed was small, which was not too bad. Our room faced onto the side street which had buses passing till very late (single glazed windows, no air con). Worst of all, we went around graduation time (our... more

A group of us stayed here for one night as part of a business trip. The single rooms we were allotted were poky with more emphasis on the size of the TV than comfort. The showers were small and dirty, the towels almost threadbare and you couldn't keep the window open because of the noise of the central heating vents... more

This hotel is a short walk from the Lund train station. It is too close to use a taxi and a little far if you have 110lbs. of luggage, as I did on this trip. Check-in was not good. There was a line and the front desk phone was ringing constantly. It took nearly 40 minutes to get the key... more

We stayed at the Grand Hotel for a week, during which we celebrated our marriage in Lund. Our room was recently refurbished and had a lovely view over the small park in front of the hotel. The standard of furnishings, bathroom and domestic servicing was excellent and the reception staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. We had... more

This historical, late 19th century hotel, used to be the regular meeting place of celebrated authors and artists. It remains a very fashionable place to stay and has been carefully modernised without losing it's fin-de-siecle atmosphere: fancy, yet not vulgar. Being the oldest hotel, it has one of the best and most central locations, right between the train station and... more

When you telephone them and ask them if they have parking. they say 'yes' but infact they refer to their other hotel which is a block away. We arrived late at night to find there was no parking. My wife and I had to drive to the next hotel and drag our luggage throught the streets to the Grand amidst... more
