Anna, Marion, Malin, Stina at reception, housekeeping and kitchen team always smile, willing to help, hard working, efficient, polite. People are precious and they make Sidsjo wonderful. A place you want to stay again and again. Clean comfortable room, scenic location, cheerful breakfast, kitchen on each floor so you can cook, free laundry. People and place both are awesome. This is the only reason I have stayed here again and again. By far the best place to stay in Sundsvall. A feel good place! Keep smiling always Ashish

Good for a nights sleep, more a hostel than a hotel but you get your moneys worth. The staff are friendly and speak fluent English and are very talkative. Wifi's good, abit eerie at night though. But other than that I'd happily stay again. Very clean too.

Budget alternative a bit off from the town center. A bit tricky to find and not so convenient at late arrivals (front door locked and the pin code didn’t work), but the rooms were both generous and surprisingly silent and we had no trouble going to sleep there after a long day of travelling. The breakfast buffet was maybe a bit under dimensioned and the atmosphere in the building is still more of a hospital than a hotel but this is all compensated by the reasonable pricing.

I've never been in jail, but it must be close to this. White walls, long corridors. Bedrooms with little furniture. Beds are ok, but the shared shower has a plumming problem as does the sink. Bad and slow wifi, a long walk to the city center. On the positive side: friendly staff and an ok breakfast.

We were there in December 2011. Nice, clean & quet place. Aloud with pets. Rooms are big! Bedclothes provided. A bit far from the centre of town, but if you are with car - no problem. Stuff is frandly & helpful. Showerrooms are comfortable & up to me with a fresh remont.
