*It is cheap for Sweden if you are many - we took a room with two beds for only 450 and if you are three one could also sleep on the floor. *There is no staff in the hotel and if you are by yourself and lock yourself out of the hotel or your room you would have to wait... More

So the first impression of the Hostel is when they email you two codes. One is for the front door and one is for your room. It is a peculiar system, for me it was rather unique. When you enter the hostel you see that it is rather... erm... spartan? There are no windows - hardly a bad thing in... More

The citysleep is in the city centre of Lulea, right in front of one of the big lakes of the area. there is no reception, but everything is ready and working with your personal PIN. Rooms are ok, with big beds and lots of sockets. The bathrooms are not inside the room, but even if they are common they are... More

The room was dark, because of the lack of windows. It looks a bit like a prison. However, the kitchen is well-equiped and the shared bathrooms looked alright. It's just the bare minimum of a hostel, there's no staff around to help you, everything is done with lockpads.

No luxury but clean, a good sleep (quite and dark with no windows), perfect location. I did not see any staff at all. No toilet in the room but the private bathrooms in corridor was clean. Common TV-room and kitchen with most needed things.

Sweden is an expensive country when it comes to accomodation. Budget-conscious travellers will have to make compromises somewhere. CitySleep offers cheap rates by Swedish standards and sacrifices a view. All rooms are internal, without windows. Apart from that you're not sacrificing much though. This is a brand-new hostel with a very substantial kitchen, good shared sanitary amenities and laundry facilites.... More

Upon walking into our room, my boyfriend said, "that looks like prison. Except they have windows in prison." So that sums up the room - neon light, two beds and a small desk, no window!!!, that´s it. To their credit, the room looked new and wasn´t dirty. Linens and towels are not included (80 SEK to rent them); the shared... More
