Really lovely place to stay. Staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Best to book your activities before you arrive, which we did and therefore meant we had the most fantastic experience in kiruna. Highly recommended! Thank you to everyone at Camp Ripan.

I spent 7 days in this hotel in Kiruna. I rented an apartment with my brother and my three cousins. The room was a little bit too small but they warned us that it would have been it for 5 people. We really enjoyed staying there though. Even because it is the best place to see the northern light in... More

I stayed here with my brother for 3 nights in January. We stayed in a single beds cabin, a few minutes walk from the main reception building. The cabin was basic and clean, but it was all we needed. We ate once in the restaurant and we were very pleased with our meal. Even though we hadn't made a reservation... More

Stayed for 3 nights in comfortable warm / hot cabin about 150 yards walk (including with luggage) in the snow from main reception. The cabin was terraced so we could hear loud talking in adjacent room, although this was muffled and not disturbing in the end. Bed was comfortable in what was a fairly spacious room. Individual duvets were supplied... More

We enjoyed the spa, which is really great (whilst should be free for hotel guests) and the restaurant, where nice food is served. Accommodation is average (small rooms, no dark blinds to protect from early daylight).

My Wife and I spent 4 nights here in a single room cabin that was very clean, comfortable and modern. It looked like it had been recently refurbished. My Wife had been corresponding with Sarah for 15 months prior to our visit and she had been very helpful as were all of the staff once we arrived. It is a... More

Notable pros: Close to Kiruna, but removed from the town center, maybe the best breakfast buffet I've ever had, great activity desk with lots of tour choices and toys (sleds, ice skates, skis, snow gear), and the restaurant has a nice ambiance and serves some fine reindeer steak and moose meatballs (at the normal math-inducing Swedish prices). First world problems:... More

We stayed for one night at this hotel at the end of our hunt for the northern lights. We were impressed at the spacious room with the full amenities to hang your wet clothes after a full day out in the snow. We could park our car right outside the room and it was equipped with both shovel and broom... More

Very nice "camp" organized into cabins. Everything is made practical and easy to access (cabins, restaurant, reception, spa...) Welcome is good and professional. The only drawback of this hotel would be that a motorized transportation is needed for every lapp activity, due to its proximity with the city.

This was pricey accommodation for the size but it was for new year and we know Sweden is expensive so I went ahead and booked. We found the hotel easy to communicate with ahead of time and on arrival found the main reception and restaurant area very well appointed in a modern style. The staff were always helpful you just...
