Kimba Kake enjoyed the stay... Very friendly hotel, in a central location. Traditional bright white decor, clean facilities throughout and we really enjoyed the breakfast with a nice little selection of good quality foods available for brekky. I'm giving this hotel 4 stars because the tyranny of distance and environment makes it difficult to live in this environment and if... More

I had a great time there. Clean and comfortable rooms. Excellent care. The staffs helped me with everything I needed while I was there. They showed me the sights and helped to buy train tickets. I made friends for life.

I had a good three night stay here. The room was quite large and had the standard amenities including a TV etc. Breakfast was included and the buffet was generally better quality than the offering at hotels in the large branded chains. There was a computer for guest use in the reception area (free). It was a lot like country... More

Positive: Good size room. Negative: Out room was under the stairs so it was quite noisy. The dining room was not big enough so we had to keep checking back to see if there was a free table for breakfast.

We stayed here for 2 nights to enjoy the midnight sun and the nearby Abisco national park. This hotel is located near the town centre and airport. It is a small well run hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were sizeable, clean and tidy and with a good sized bathroom. The breakfast spread was good. Since we had... More

We had a good stay here in the summer, at summer solstice time in June 2013 (altho I chose Sept 2013 as it was the closest date available to choose. Yes, procrastinator, I know). Our room had a good bathroom, room had two twin beds. Our room was on the street, on the first floor, but no noise problem. Opening... More

Have stayed here before and it is a good hotel and good value. Stayed in Annex this time which was a good place except impossible to safely get to breakfast! Ice was thick and slippy. Fell over a couple of times. Room was very cold first night and not easy to control temperature till I found controls next morning. Breakfast... More

Nice, clean and friendly staff. However, I am a motorcyclist traveling alone and enjoy having a meal on the premises as I travel enough in a day without having to walk into town for a meal. When I asked at reception what time the restaurant opens, as stated on their website, she kindly tells me there are no meals during... More

Hotel Vinterpalatset is not a "palace", despite the name. But it is a very nice hotel with good service an clean, comfortabel rooms. Located a few minutes walk from the town center. Breakfast is is like beeing in a private home. Good sleep quality with no noise from traffic. Safe and free parking outside. Kiruna is a very special place.... More

My wife and I stay at Vinterpalatset just before Midsummer. The hotel is very quiet with a good breakfast and with an evening meal which is well worth its price. The rooms are nicely furnished and the hotel is only ten minutes walk from the city center. There is a nice view from the lounge equipped with a small bar... More
