"Historic" Ferrum it,s on it,s way. Smart lobby and restaurant design. Still some things to improve, bed linen, quilt and pillows still low class. Big plus for activity black board. Very warm rooms facing the LKAB mine. Properly only a problem a few weeks a year. Thank you for free WI FI and friendly reception.

First: the front desk staff was great and effective. The room was a bit dusty and it was a very hot day so it got hot because there is no air conditioning. Nice view to mine. The restaurant were I had dinner was nor good. But the breakfast was ok.

As we had room 228 we always heard doors smashing and the escalator going up and down. For 1400 SEK in a standard room this was just too much. Except that the hotel staff is friendly and there is a large breakfast buffet. Add: even if we could have another room as we noticed that the room is noisy, it... More

Hotel Ferrum is the largest place to stay in Kiruna. Maybe not cosy and personal but a good midrange hotel. Very friendly staff and nice room. Good breakfast. Don't forget too visit the sauna on the top floor with a view over the mine.

We stayed in this hotel on a trip where we visited the Ice Hotel. Great hotel and a great town. Free parking helped in the winter season and a great breakfast made all of us happy. We truly enjoyed the stay and hopefully we will visit again

We stayed here for the first night in Kiruna before hiking the Kungsleden. And it happened to be in the middle of the Kiruna festival which was fun as the hotel is on the festival grounds and we received access to the event as part of our stay (Status Quo were on the floor above us). The hotels was clean... More

Stayed there for a night before heading to the Ice Hotel. Good place for someone traveling solo like me as they had a night club attached and it was a good place to get a beer and meet some people. Rooms were clean and they had a lookout tower on the top of the hotel that was pretty interesting. Gym... More

Kiruna is a mining city where LKAB is the main employer. This has the good effect for Kiruna having good connection by air, rail and flight to Stockholm. Kiruna was the base to Tromsø and Altar. The hotel is an excellent example of a nice place to stay, so book early!
