The building and entrance to the hotel were lovely and clean. Bedroom look ok bit dated but went with the building........ On closer inspection it was so dirty. It did not look like it had been hoovered in at least a year! Under a table was a clothing label and someone's used medicine capsule . Skirting boards in the bathroom... More

Me and a friend shared room which had a double bed and a single bed. It was nice and large but was situated overlooking a central yard that had a few roosting pigeons that started cooing early. Breakfast is extra which we didnt realise but we decided to eat at weatherspoons anyway (half the price of hotel breakfast). We didn't... More

Ring the door bell-no answer. No parking. Dirty bath-unfit to wash in, broken tiles and sink, scratched bath. Outdated and shabby. Needs complete overhaul and house keeping need to up their game. Windows filthy. What a disappointment. No breakfast, would not have wanted it, as if the rooms were anything to go by, cleanliness would be an issue.

Awful hotel, very rude manager, smallest hotel room I've ever seen, shower didn't work properly. Terrible customer service, ridiculously over priced. No lift in this hotel. I would never stay in this hotel again. You're better off sleeping on Brighton beach!!!!

Lovely looking building in great location overlooking a green space. The owner issued us with a parking permit to park outside at £10 a day (you need to move the car before 9.00 the next morning), or you can park on the seafront for the same cost for 24 hours (we were expecting to pay for parking but it would... Lovely old building in a great location, with impressive high ceilings. Not so lovely cold room with broken extractor fan in en suite. 'The heating doesnt work well in that room' is not all that useful for a winter stay with a howing gale blowing. When I went to discuss the situation with the manager/owner, as well as a free... Situated in a lovely regency square in Hove, but just a 15 minute walk along the prom to Brighton centre, the Brunswick is very reasonably priced for a short stay. Some things could be spruced up, but the room I stayed in was clean and comfortable with lots more tea and coffee than you get in business hotel rooms. Plus... More

My partner had never visited brighton before and the stay couldn't have been more perfect. What a beautiful building, great location and yes, the decor is a little bit dated but the room was clean, the bed comfortable and the manager couldn't have been nicer. Would definitely return!

Worst Hotel I have stayed at for a long time - so bad in fact, we moved to the Ibis for the second night. The Rooms looked as though they had not been cleaned for some time and had a bad chest there was so much dust. We sat awaiting breakfast 1st morning to a surprised member of staff who... More

We really enjoyed staying at Brunswick hotel during Xmas holidays. We appreciated warm welcome, kindness of our host and nice accommodation. The hotel is very well situated (very nice location close to the sea). We had a great time over here. We highly recommend. Alex & Françoise
