Mary's b&b is so nice. Just a few minutes away from the stunning Slieve League cliffs, it has very cosy bedrooms with TV and free wifi, all en-suite. When we arrived Mary made us a cup of tea and muffins, so kind. In the town centre, which is about 5 mins away by car, you can find everything you need:... More

15 years ago we were in this B&B. Now we are back in ireland and because we were in the neigbourhood, we decided to take this one again. No regrets! The lady is still very friendly, breakfast is very good, and slieve league is in the backyard

My wife and I spent a night at Mary and Andy's great B&B, and so pleased we did. The room was clean, pretty and comfortable, and we had off street parking, and about a 15 minute walk down the hill to the pub for dinner. Mary was the most gracious host, providing us with tea/coffee and cupcakes on arrival, and... More

Central location, but quiet, perfect Service (Mary herself :-), useful advice and help with even many things we didn't know we need help at! It was great to stay there, learn about the local life and discuss music and other things. Credit card cannot be used, but even it is useful for the visitor and can be seen in the... More

We had a lovely stay here, Mary provided such warm hospitality and she has a great sense of humor. The B&B was immaculate, the food was bountiful and delicious. I only wished we could have stayed longer as their home was such a warm and relaxing place.

Tom and Betty, Ohio We had a fantastic stay in Cairnsmore, Mary is a wonderful host and made us feel so welcome. Ideal location for exploring the rugged coast of South West Donegal and the wonderful Slieve League cliffs. We had a hearty Irish breakfast and Mary was great with all the information as to where to visit. A totally... More

I wholeheartedly recommend Cairnsmore B&B. Mary & Andy were the most gracious hosts and sitting in the sunshine over afternoon tea chatting with them was a delight. The great location of this B&B enabled us to go and catch the sunset at Slieve League and return in the morning for a boat trip. Breakfast was excellent and the gluten free... More

We can recommend this B&B wholeheartedy. The room and the premises are spotless, the bed and the shower are comfortable. The mild and sympathetic manners of Ms. Mary are a joy. The location is perfect to explore the peninsula of Southwest Donegal. The only drawback we experienced is the size of the room which is small for two persons and... More

During our hiking trip "Sli Cholmcille" we stayed in the Cairnsmore B&B. We where planning to go camping but due to the bad weather we decided to take the first B&B we saw walking into Carrick. We had a warm welcome from Mary with a nice cup of thee. The room was good and clean. Also the breakfast Mary served... More
