part of the malpas hotel. Did not stay in hotel. But visited the Conaro beach restaurant , have been visitor to Northern Cyprus for 7 years, and had the worst meal ever there , service was poor and meal was appalling , the seasons veg consisted of 3 limp rocket leaves, soggy Chips and fish still frozen in the centre,... Maybe hotel should eally can do something to be a 5 star, because with this average remarks I gave, its more a 4 star hotel. They are too much casino customers oriented, to meet their expectations, but not for other regular guests.

I plan to do a separate review re the fabous hotel which was equally wonderful but this is in respect of Andrew Sings (with Glen) the entertainment twice a week. Really can not think of superlatives great enough to describe Andrew and Glen. Andrew reduced me to tears with his version of Elvis' American Trilogy (twice) and Glen could easily... More

The Malpas hotel should really be called Beluga Casino as you have to walk past the entrance to the casino every time you approach the hotel, which is complete with at least 2 gorillas glaring at you for daring to walk on the pavement. It's rated 5 star but this is anything but. Food was average with no real effort... More

Returned from holiday at this hotel two days ago we were there for ten days. This was our third visit to Northern Cyprus and our first stay at the Malpas. We flew out of Stanstead Airport with Pegasus Airline with which we were quite impressed new planes with generous legroom and after a brief stop in Istanbul we were on... More

If you go to Cyprus, you are already winning! Mapas Hotel, is situated in the North coast, close to the city of Kyrenia. Two airports, 20minutes and 60 minutes away. There is a Casino in the Hotel (no pictures allowed). Swimming pool and everything outdoors is great. Food is really good and service and employees very friendly. usually there is... More

Recently we went to Cyprus for a destination Wedding (which was absolutely) and stayed at Malpas Hotel. This place could be a really nice place if there was some upgrades made in the facility. While there was some renovations going on there were little things that could have been easily addressed with minimum effort. Our room was ok but the... More

Lovely styled hotel. However, too many sleepless nights owning to loud music played some nights. the music was so loud we could feel the base vibration in our rooom. Otherwise food good, restaurant staff attentive, stylish hotel and well positioned with fabulous views. Pity they felt unable to reduce the noise level until the early hours!

This hotel was unknown albeit I knew Northern Cyprus. It was booked on the internet for 4 people owing to the exceptional value for money - just over £1500 for half board, including flights and transfers for 4 people. The breakfasts were excellent, though the only disappointment was not serving fresh fruit juice on an Island renowned for its fruit... More

The Malpas is a beautiful hotel with stunning views. It provides some nice touches like shuttle buses into town and to their "beach" (not a grain of sand to be seen) which makes it very easy to get around. The Malpas purports to be a 5 star hotel but serves the worst, most unpleasant, drink at breakfast and dares to... More
