We stopped for lunch after visiting the castle and found friendly staff giving good service and good food. They were happy to recommend a very good beer. Not a gourmet experience but certainly worth a visit.

The Restaurant offers very good local based dishes, the service is excellent and the outdoor balcony are is lovely with a very nice atmosphere . A must visit for this Town. I have be to several local this is the best by a long way. In addition the wine list is also a good complement to the menu.

Madam Sprunck is centrally located near the harbour and railway station in Helsingør. Nightlife is right outside. The hotel part is average, but the rooms are clean and ok. Breakfast was ok, slightly below medium compared to Danish standards. The restaurant was a pleasant surprise. Excellent food and nice service.

Stayed for 2 nights. Nice and central for the old town, Kronborg Castle, ferries to Sweden and railway station. Staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Breakfast and evening meal we had in restaurant were good and plentiful. Our room (on second floor) was plenty big enough with a small shower room. Perfectly adequate though. Nice comfortable beds... After visiting the castle, we stopped here to eat lunch. We walked in to the bar and, after several staff walked right past us without even looking at us, we asked at the bar if we could sit anywhere, to which the bartender said yes. We sat at a table and again, several staff members passed us by without looking... More

Madam Sprunck is essentially a bed & breakfast. It uses a self-check-in system but as staff were around they helped with the booking-in process. We were given room 102 on the first floor overlooking Bramstræde. This was a pleasant enough room, furnished adequately for a B&B. It's a small room but the bed & bedding were fine, there was adequate... More

The rooms a small, but nice. The beads are soft (too soft for my test). Rooms towards the yard are quieter. We had a room facing the street and did not sleep at all - when the loud music and drunk people stopped making noise the cleaning machines started :( . There is no fan or aircon (some days in... It was extremely noisy...we kept awake until 4am by Friday night revellers in the street outside. It has a great central location but that also is its downfall if your stay happens to coincide with a night of partying by others. The room was very small. The breakfast was poorly organised (and late starting with hotel guests queuing up outside... More

A nice functional little hotel very very close to the station. Excellent venue for business and wifi seams to work!!! The restaurant is nice and as a good buzz about it. The food however is very very expensive for what you get

Good food at a reasonable price. But the bar man, who complained that we did not order the same drink at the same time to save him work, and kept repeating the complaint, ruined the experience! It may not be a big thing, but it is actually enough to ruin the night!
