The hostel is centrally located, near to the center railway station and only 2 minute walk to the pedestrian thoroughfare. It has a lovely hall that welcomes the travelers. It is also the community room and occasionally concerts are being held there which is a great opportunity to get to know and talking to each other. The hostel offers a... More

I went to Copenhagen for a weekend and stayed in a female 4 bed hostel with another friend. This hostel has the potential to provide better facilities. The reception is located right next to the bar which is lively and entertaining but quite poor when you are checking in. We were in a queue of 8-10 people all checking in... More

This hostel is great for solo travellers or groups. It is very social as there are bar and lounge areas and also walking tours that you can join from here. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and there is a lovely relaxed atmosphere about the place. I chose a private room which was cosy and comfortable and nice... More

I went on a university trip to Copenhagen for 4 Days in January for Copenhagen Fashion Week. We were surprised to see such a cool, laid back and comfortable lobby area upon arriving at the hostel which most of us were dreading. We had a look around the local spots and there is loads to see from just a few... More

Copenhagen Downtown Hostel was absolutely perfect. I've been to a few chain hostels which are good but they just don't have the same vibe as an independent hostel. Everyone genuinely likes working at Copenahgen Downtown Hostel and you can tell when you enter the place that you are going to get good service. We were there with a big group... More

I liked the central location. The rooms also were ok for the price, For three days I had a single room (with three beds). I asked for a quiet room, and they gave me a room in fifth floor, away from the lift, and I slept well (it was winter time, so I borrowed an extra blanket from another bed... More

It's a great hostel and even better staff, I really recomend it. The service and the enviorment is awesome, it's perfect if you want to enjoy a great company. For me it's the best way to enjoy a few days in Copenhaguen.

A group of us stayed here during a weekend away and found the hostel to be 'alright'. A bit so-so. The highlights? Free dinner (you have to go down really early and get a spot at one of the 'dinner tables' otherwise you miss out) - which is not fancy but still free food. We were here over valentines day... More

Decent rooms and a great friendly atmosphere. The staff are all really helpful, the bar is big a very reasonably priced. Comfy lounge area too. They even give you free food at 18:30 if you're feeling frugal!! The shower facilities are clean and there's plenty but queues will happen at peak times, did I mention they're clean. Stayed here twice... More

Pro's: - General friendly vibe and staff - Reasonably nice rooms with swipe card access (which I find easier to carry than a key) - Breakfast is decent value - Bar/downstairs area is pretty good - Lots of activities and tours - linen included Cons: - Not super clean toilets and showers. - only a few toilets and showers per...
