On the top floor of the Danhostel you will find the Europahuset Luxury Apartments. They are owned by the hostel but are a totally different kind of lodging. The Danhostel is situated close to the Tivoli park and railway station and only a short walk from the city centre. It is a large and business like building, so don't expect... More

We were quite impressed with the place. Only 5min walk to Tivoli. We took a private 6 bunk room with our own toilets. We were 2 adults and 3 kids. Modern, spacious rooms with good bathroom. Spartan however everything was there. Light and airy rooms too. You need to pay for bedding however thats the deal. Breakfast was really good.... More

We stayed in a double room on the fourteenth floor with a view overlooking Tivoli and Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek. Great location and very easy to get to everything in Copenhagen. I felt very safe staying there. We never attempted the breakfast because the lines were absolutely horrible. The construction going on was annoying, but understandable. The bar was still open... My friends and I stayed in a private en-suite room accommodating 6, didn't expect it to be so 'hotel-ish' because usually hostels are quite basic. They have friendly staffs, good price. great location, nice communal kitchen, new and modern and rather clean rooms. But when we first arrived, the bin in the room was full, there's quite a lot of... my girlfriend and i stayed here in a private room when we visited in May 2015. Despite it's size it isn't noisy and is well organised. There was construction works underway on the ground floor but they did not interfere with the stay. Friendly staff, clean, modern, safe, etc. Great view too!

We were a big group of people traveling so we shared a 10 bed-dorm room, there was one room with 3 bunkbed and one room with 1 bunkbed+ two single beds, and a shared bathroom for everyone. The rooms were ok, but there was no soap provided in the bathroom. the beds on the other hand are the worst i've... More

At the recommendation of a Copenhagen friend, we stayed at Danhostel while in Copenhagen for a brief family vacation. Price was about 1/2 what we would have paid in a modest hotel. Excellent location a few blocks from Tivoli Garden. Private family rooms on 3d floor worked well for us, and they had a baby pack-and-play we could rent. Breakfast... More

Followed a bunch of strangers to Copenhagen on a whim so had not made any plans or looked up accommodation in the city. My travel companions had booked this hostel and I figured I might as well join them. Thankfully, the hostel was not fully booked as it was not yet the weekend. As I had not reserved a room,... More

Family friend hostel. Nice, big rooms, with big windows and good light. Very good hygiene at all levels. Quiet and cozy. The staff is all very nice and always ready to help or chat a little. It has a kitchen (with 3 fridges to keep you food) where you can prepare your own meals, and a laundry to wash the... More

Great hostel- more like a hotel. Really clean, good size room, private bathroom. Me and my best friend stayed here for Eurovision 2014 and were really pleasantly surprised. Wi-Fi was great also and staff were friendly. Great value and I would definitely stay here as opposed to a hotel again- it has everything you need and is in a good... More
