Family friend hostel. Nice, big rooms, with big windows and good light. Very good hygiene at all levels. Quiet and cozy. The staff is all very nice and always ready to help or chat a little. It has a kitchen (with 3 fridges to keep you food) where you can prepare your own meals, and a laundry to wash the... More

Great hostel- more like a hotel. Really clean, good size room, private bathroom. Me and my best friend stayed here for Eurovision 2014 and were really pleasantly surprised. Wi-Fi was great also and staff were friendly. Great value and I would definitely stay here as opposed to a hotel again- it has everything you need and is in a good... More

I have stayed at this hostel for seven days during March. The hostel was partially under renovation, so there was some level of discomfort with that. At the expensive Kopenhagen, this place is a haven with the European average hostel accomodation price, cleanliness, large lounge area (no comfy seat though) and many TVs, fully equipped kitchen (could have been bigger),... Central location, fairly quiet, reception staff were helpful. Decent breakfast and a nice bar overlooking river. Only annoying thing was the charge for bed sheets. Would stay again if going for a short break.

My arrival to Danhostel was very pleasant, it is really easy to find this hotel from the main train station. If you don't know where it is, just follow the block of Tivoli Amusement Park and the Glyptothek, you are in the right path! The Italian speaking guy at the reception was very friendly and even cared to show me... More

I had a good experience, the room was clean, the bed comfortable, the ensuite toilet and shower clean too, with plenty of hot water. The staff was friendly and the hostel is in a central position, only 6 minutes walk from the bus stop of 5A, the bus to/from the airport. It is a very high building (I am not... More

I stayed here for a weekend with my husband. Really close to the city centre, about 10 min walk so very central. Even though there was just the two of us, we were put in a room that is made for 6 people which was better as was a lot more spacious. Staff are helpful. We didn't avail of the... More

I booked a single room for 3 nights at the Dan Hostel. I hesitated for a long time to go to a hostel (instead to a hotel), but when I read that it was a 5 star design hostel and that they had single rooms, I was convinced to book there. But at my arrival and after my first night... More

This is actually the largest hostel in Europe. While that means you get a very efficient way of running things, it also means it's a lot less personal. You're more of a number than you would be in a small hostel. That said, it is amazing to see how they manage to keep all rooms really clean. Location-wise, the hotel... More
