Although the slow staff at reception created an initial bad impression, the room I booked for myself and 4 friends was of a very good standard. The views from the top floors are stunning. The rooms are clean minimalist design and functional. There is nothing particularly lacking. I pre-booked linen, towel, youth card in advance so no grumbles. The man... More

The biggest plus of this hostel is that its very centrally located (5 minutes from Tivoli) and relatively clean. Some of the staff are friendly, just depends on who you meet at the front desk. There are a lot of hidden costs involved. You pay for everything. First off we had to pay for a Hosteling International membership because they... More

I enjoyed my stay here - - it is a very clean and comfortable hostel. As long as you don't expect too much, you will be satisfied by the stay here. I shared a room with other girls and made nice friends with which i kept in touch afterwards. Very easy to reach the center (about 7 minutes from the... More

My friend and I had a great 4 nights at the Danhostel Copenhagen City. Its in a fantastic location, so if that's important for you then stay here! 3 min walk to Tivoli, 7 min walk to the start of the main shopping strip. The accom itself is incredibly clean & modern with great views of the city. Go out... More

I stayed in this hostel with a large group of friends. It is very conveniently located and easy to walk to the main train station as well. Although it is a huge hostel, it was very quiet and we did not have problems with noise as some of the other reviews mentioned. I was actually quite impressed with the facilities.... More

The hostel itself is very clean, comfortable, and well equipped - also within walking distance to everything in the city. However, being situated in-between two very busy roads, I found the traffic noise (even 8 floors up) to be unbearable - resulting in a request to change rooms at 1am in the morning. On being moved to a room on... More

this hostel is very modern. i like their firm beds, and the room which was very spacious despite like 6 people were sleeping there. The bathroom was very nice as well. as mentioned, it is in a great location. i noticed that you could leave your food in their refrigerator with a label in a bag. i saw they washed... More

This hostel was pricey - not unlike everything in Denmark for us Canadians. About $50 for a bed in an 8-bed dorm room. I think if my friend and I looked around a little harder we could have found a private hotel room for a similar price. Happened to be all-female room which was nice, the room and ensuite was... More

For a weekend stay with the girls (32 years of age) we thought this place was great. We got clean fresch towels and sheets at check in with a great welcome from the girls working there. The rooms were pretty simple, with a fantastic view overlooking the city and the river. The bathroom was almost newly renovated. Breakfastbuff'e was lovely!... More
