Me and two of my other friends spent totally 2 nights at Richmond Hotel. We booked the hotel via Hotwire a week in advance. The hotel is quite close to Vesterbro, the city centre of copenhagen. It's about 15-20 minutes walk to the high streets. Roughly 5 minutes away to the nearest metro station. There's also a gym next to... More

I booked three nights and paid for instead of two nights in error. Staff are not prepared to listen your grievances, the lady on the desk called Anna is so rude she talks over you when speaking to her, she told me three times that her Manager is in a meeting, at lunch and not available to speak to me.... Parking within 200 meters from hotel, hotel has agreement with indoor car park, for about 150kr day. For the price (especially given it is Copenhagen) I don't expect the lap of luxury, but at the same time, for a city hotel I do expect it to have amenities listed working. Internet - no. Non existent. No one in our group could get a 'high speed' connection....or any connection at all for the most part! The hotel decor... More

In many places you’ll see this hotel rated with three stars. In my book that’s at least one too many. Depending on what the purpose of your stay is, your expectations may be higher or lower. If this is just a place to stay in central Copenhagen and “the hotel experience” is not important to you, then you’ll probably be... More

We stayed for one night at the Richmond Hotel in September before embarking to our cruise ship in Copenhagen . This hotel is in an older building near the center of town. Thus location is a selling point. The room is small but has all the basic comfort. The price for one night is comparable to a mid range hotel... More

I came here because it was on sale, and it most definitely should have been. I did not include breakfast with my stay. In writing this review I'm wrestling with the difference between average and poor. In comparing this to other hotels I've stayed at, this was most definitely poor, but for the frequent traveler it might be considered average.... More

Staied here for a conference at Copenhagen University (less than 10 minutes walk). The room was clean and functional with everything that is needed. Free WiFi was provided. If you do not fancy paying extra for breakfast, I found a bakery not far away where I could get still-warm Danish and coffee and even sofa and newspapers.

The Richmond is about a 15 minute walk from the train station and easy enough to find. The staff at reception were excellent and most accommodating considering we were three hours early for check-in. The rooms are a bit old and a bit basic. It did have a telephone, a flat screen tv, good quality wifi, an electric fan but... More

Just finished second stay at Richmond which was delightful. This stay was in September rather than February, so sample was helped by warmer weather and more tourist choices available. That said, Richmond Hotel is a economical choice in a great location. Stay was greatly improved by the service of Jane and Daniel, both incredibly helpful and kind. I requested a... More
