I stayed here on my first visit to the city and would happily stay again. The location is great, walking distance to most attractions with the possible exception of the mermaid. The place has a great, old school decor with a Nordic flavour. The biggest attraction is the staff who dress according to the theme and are always happy to... More

The nice bits: rooms are large and furniture is nice, close to city centre The downside: noisy as it overlooks a large urban street with a lot of traffic, needs some refurbishing, only a handfull of international channels on TV, bed too soft and a few holes in the blankets, breakfast ok but nothing special. Conclusion: value for money not... More

We enjoyed six days at hotel Alexandra - the main attraction is the unique design of every room. We saw only ours (of course0 but also the floor is covered with drawings, books in shelfs and other decorations. In the lobby there is a set of wooden animals that you can buy - and you are guaranteed they are the... More

My friend and I had a fabulous 3 night stay in the Hotel Alexandra. The mid century theme is well executed and comfortable. The staff are great, especially April who was very welcoming, helpful and friendly. We stayed a twin room which was well equipped incl a bluetooth speaker (!) and with the most amazing show, ever! We didn't opt... More

Loved the Arne Jacobsen room with its authentic Jacobsen pieces. It's a large room with lots of light, and a good sized bathroom. I'm a fan of designer chairs and the hotel has plenty spread around its premises, giving it a lovely 50s/60s period feel. The staff are helpful and everything is very clean. The free wifi works well. The... More

First time and we certainly will be back. Our room was beautiful, with original mid century furniture, a cute little bath with a powerful shower. Don't forget the complimentary glass of wine in the evening, amongst more amazing furniture. If you love mid century furniture or you are a collector as well, you will appreciate the effort they've put into... More

This hotel had a great location and had a really nice Danish Charm. The furniture in the Hotel was great, we had great service from the staff, on both evenings we came home we were offered a free glass of wine. The room was small but comfortable. This hotel is a perfect for a couple. I would stay at this... More

This is a beautiful hotel. The designed rooms are welcoming and stylish. It has a charm you don't get in hotels these days. It not a modern cookie cutter business hotel so if that's what you want this might not be for you. It is however enchanting and you feel at home. The service is personal and relaxed. I loved... Arrived later than expected and received a very warm welcome and a decent glass of wine. Lounge area full of style - references bric-a-brac and furniture. Also very comfortable and surprisingly easy to relax in. Rooms (superior double) are simply but stylishly decorated and we certainly found them comfortable. Bathroom is a little small but we had a three night... More

Ive stayed at most of the main hotels in Copenhagen and this one is by far the most charming, unique and special. Absolutely incredible authentic design, fantastic kind staff, this is just a very special space. This isn't the place to stay if you are looking for a business hotel from 2012 but rather somewhere to be if you appreciate... More
