This is a very decent hotel, with english speaking staff and clean rooms and a good breakfast. The rooms a bit on the smaller side, but it's a good price/value. The location is very good, shopping/restaurants are right around the corner

This is not a typical hotel in my opinion. The best way to describe Wakeup Copenhagen Borgergade is something between hostel and hotel category. It's great for solo travelers not looking to spend money for a room in a typical, full serviced hotel in such an expensive location such as Copenhagen, but yet want the privacy hostels cannot offer. Location... More

Other reviewers have noted correctly that this hotel and its facilities are modern, clean and good value. I would add that the rooms are minimalist. Whilst the rooms are functional, they are indeed tiny (about 10 square metres) and lack certain amenities. There are no shelves at all to place clothes or a suitcase, the "wardrobe" consists of 4 coat-hangers... More

Dear Robin B Thank for your review and comments. Your opion is highly valued. I just have to comment that the rooms in fact are approx. 12 square metres (not to make a big difference). You are right about the small "wardrobe" but in fact there is placed a fold-out suitcase rack on the wall. Maybe you did not notice... More

A friend of mine and I went there for 2 nights in March. We had room 360. Everything was quite, clean and pragmatic. I can warmly recommend this hotel. It has a fresh and new look and is a good value for money. Pros: - Friendly staff - Clean rooms and restaurant - Check in and out quick and clear... More

Rooms are very small and not clean. No minibar, no Phone in the room. If you want to buy a bottle of water, you should go to the reception. No Iron in the room, and you can't ask for it. There is an ironing room on a basement. So take your shirt and go down to iron it. The hotel... More

Dear Катерина Щ I am sorry to read your impression of Wakeup Copenhagen, Borgergade. We try to be as honest as possible when we describe our hotel and display pictures on the internet. We are a 2-star budget hotel with limited service but with great Scandinavian design. Our rooms are approx. 12 square metres with high quality furniture and an... More

We stayed in the hotel for two nights. Very small basic room but it has everything you need. Very well furnished. The wall glass bathroom inside the room is very nice. It doesn't give you a good privacy but if you travel with your partner is ok! Everything is new and clean and it seems being a superior category than... More

This is the best hotel in town for a short stay. Location is perfect, everything is within walking distance. Hotel is less than one year old, hence is modern, clean and all functioning well. Staff is quite helpful. All the rooms are the same size and type, the upper floors are obviously more quite in summer. Stayed there several times:... More

So this hotel made me aware what is the bare minimum I need on a business trip. Good bed, good shower, good wifi, convenient location.. And that they delivered. Yes rooms are small, but I never felt it was too small. The bed is tough, maybe too tough for some people, I actually like it that way. Bathroom is small... More

I stayed in a standard single room for several days in January and May. Although very tiny, the room has everything you need without being over-furnished. Glass bathroom looks really cool, even if it takes one third of the room). The bed is big enogth for two, very comfortable. The quality of sleep is also great, well may be in... More

This hotel is great, its cheap and its good. Reception, location, wifi, rooms, bathrooms, amenities, cleanliness, its all good and hard to fault. Maybe you could argue everything is a little small (but for the price its excellent value and who has dinner parties in their room anyway?), maybe you could argue breakfast should be included (but its cheap anyway...
