Arrived in Copenhagen just after 10am and went straight to the hotel to drop off our luggage so we could explore the City. Greeted very warmly and as the hotel wasn't full we were allocated a room straight away which was a pleasant surprise. Room wasn't too large but nicely furnished and equipped, bed was very comfortable and the organic... More

I have stayed a couple of times in Carlton Guldsmeden and I have always enjoyed it quite a lot: the location is great (5-10 minutes afoot from Copenhagen Central Station), the staff is very kind and welcoming and the value you get for what you pay is very reasonable. The hotel has a lot of products which are biological/environmentaly friendly... More

After having been very nicely welcomed right before the closing time of the reception (23:30) we discovered our beautiful rooms with a touch of Bali furnitures; nice sofa and complimentary house wine. The reception is located on the first floor of the house which could seem an antique family house with a beautiful staircase and parquet everywhere. The reception is... More

We stayed here in November for a long weekend and we loved the cosy atmosphere of the place, its central location, the organic breakfast offered until 11 am, and the fact that you can rent bikes right from the hotel to explore the city like the locals. Would definitely come back here again.

A gem of a hotel in a great location in Copenhagen. The atmosphere was very relaxed, very welcoming and all the food and products organic. A very homely, cosy place with a touch of luxury. Loved the fact that you could help yourself to tea, coffee and home made nibbles whenever. Breakfast was good, but we were late down and... More

A very charming hotel with pleasant staff and a good service . Missing the access to free coffee which other hotels do offer but a good place to stay It is based in a nice and vibrant street but as it is inside a patio you do not hear any noise and if you do no use your alarm you... More

I stayed on business every time I visited our HQ in Copenhagen since July 2014 and I just got back staying there for over 3 weeks in September to October 2014. The team, the atmosphere, the ambiance, the happy faces greeting you as you entered even awaiting for you with a cup of tea was and has been a lovely... More

This is a good location, a straightforward walk (if you don't mind dragging a suitcase over uneven pavement for 20 min) from the train station. And the #26 bus on Vesterbrogade goes to the ocean cruise quay (allow about 1 hour). Also near many shops & restaurants, a supermarket just up the street. The room was clean and attractively decorated,... More

I like the eco-profile Carlton Guldsmeden has, and the hotel is quite charming, but steep stairs, a very old and slow elevator, and cramped spaces everywhere puts this hotel in the mid-range in my opinion. It feels like a not very successful upgrade from an old hotel. The room we had on the fifth floor (#154) was so cramped that... More
