This is a very old fashioned hotel. Tiny room with shared toilet, and shared shower (2 in one stall - zero privacy), paper-thin walls, shabby old carpet, no elevator. The sheets were clean. I elected to leave, forfeiting my first night's payment. The receptionist was able to provide me with a refund for my second night thankfully. The only advantage... More

Spotlessly clean rooms, and friendly and useful staff. Stairs not for the faint hearted. Absolutely wonderful location. Near to Rosenberg castle, beautiful parks, lovely river walks, and a cheerful nightlife. I would definitely stay here again.

Was actually booked in the hotel Jorgensen with my friend but that hotel was over sold for 2 single beds. Thus my friend stayed at Jorgensen and I went here. Pleasant stay here. Great location. Close to supermarket and food shops and metro. 25 mins to airport on metro direct access. Can walk to all attractions. Breakfast was at 8.... More

The hotel itself is not great. The facilities are poor; we had to share one shower and two toilets with about 10 different rooms, which made me feel like a student again. The tv reception and wifi were bad. Breakfast, however, was quite simple but good. Also the owner was friendly, but be aware that he is only at the... More

Second stay- great location good value and everything works. Everyone knows about the stairs, showers are safe ( this is CPH and nicer bodies to look at outside!) and it doesn't pretend to be anything else. Minuses - breakfast variety better a year ago, and please bring back the wonderful coffee machine!! Would def stay again on future visits to... More

We booked this hotel before our cruise, thinking it was a better value than the other expensive Copenhagen hotels. Don't do it. Our first sign that it is a hostel was the graffiti on the entry door-and it had been there awhile. Second was the four flights of narrow stairs you have to climb, to find the managers office--who isn't... More

I recently spent 4 nights in this hotel and there were a lot of pros and cons! Good: - LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION!! It is in the best location, close to everything and surrounded by transport! - spacious room - extremely comfortable bed - very helpful staff - lots of tourist information available - very clean and tidy! - supermarket and... Copenhagen is an expensive destination but this hotel, with its location and prices with included breakfast, meant we didn't have to compromise on anything. This hotel is a semi-hostel in that there are private rooms but shared bathrooms, though there is a wash basin in each room. The toilet was tiny on our floor but the showers were very spacious.... I booked this hotel for a pre-cruise stay. It was good value, friendly staff, extremely clean and well located for taking the train from the airport. I asked for the lowest level room since we were traveling with heavy suitcases for a 18 day cruise and stay holiday. The lowest level room is on the 2nd floor ... 40 steps... More

It is certainly not a luxury hotel but the bed was good and location excellent. Service in the reception okey and they cleaned up the room swiftly when I arrived early. For a night sleep in a good bed to half the price of traditional hotels i give it a 4.
