If you need a bed just for the night then "Hotel Windsor" will do. It's more of a hostel rather than a hotel. On the upside, it's in a great location, just off the Norreport metro station (which also means it's well connected with the airport - it took less than 0.5hr to get there), it serves really delicious breakfast,... Let me say as this is only a review on the property, not the staff. The Hotel is absolutely not for wheel chair users, or even people with walking disabilities, a lot of stairs, and no elevators, so bring also only the absolutely needed, reception is on the third floor. the room I had was ok, but maybe in the... Booked to visit the markets in Copenhagen with a girlfriend. Very convienent for transport and location for the Christmas markets. Coudn't fault the location as it was so quick to get from the airport on the metro to Norreport. Very helpful staff and lovely breakfast. Rooms and bathrooms a little bit more of a surprise on level two as we... More

The hotel is simple, but amazingly well located. Straight from airport to the nearest metro station, then towards the hotel is only 5min. Rooms are clean, bed is very comfortable. I recommend room 406 for royal view and lots of space. Shower is sharing shower but no big deal... It's all good, tidy and hot. Hotel staff is friendly, breakfast... More

First of all, Hotel Windsor is very well located in the center of Copenhagen. It is a minute walk from Norreport Metro Station and a few minutes walk away from most downtown attractions. Coming from the airport, no problem, It is only 9 metro stations from Copenhagen International Airport - Line M2 (it will take you max 30 minutes from... More

Considering the cost of most hotel rooms in Copenhagen, the Windsor offers great value. The room is basic but fully equipped for a budget hotel. The breakfast was all I could ask for. Real care was taken to provide a small selection of fresh nicely presented breads, crackers, cheese, fruit, juice and coffee.

Everything according to the expectations. Ideal if you only have to sleep, use the toilet and take a shower. Very small rooms, but more than enough if you don't have to spend much time there. Efficient services, and very kind staff. Without a doubt, I would repeat. If anyone expects big rooms, individual toilets and showers, and very wide corridors,... More

Great location and close to lots of clubs and all sorts of shops and restaurants. Close to subway station and 10min walk from Central Station. It's 30min walk from the Little Mermaid. Easy bike ride from most main attractions in downtown. Even soccer stadium is 30 min walk away. Lots of bike rentals nearby and places to have breakfast/dinner. Supermarket... More

There was no lift to the hotel, but the staff kindly helped us taking the luggage up the stairs. The room was clean, and was equipped with a private toilet. It had a wash basin and TV and a small coffee table. Just the shower facility was shared among the whole floor. There was no queue even during the peak... More

I stayed here for one night in a single room with shared facilities. The positive point is the location which is close to metro, market and city center. I was in another hotel in Copenhagen in city centre for 3 nights before I moved to this hotel because I needed to take metro at 5am in the morning to the... More

Staying in Indre By (Inner City)

Neighborhood Profile
Indre By (Inner City)
This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.
