I love the concept with rooms decorated by different artists, and our room was very nice. The breakfast is very good, but when we arrived early in the morning on our check-in day and asked to pay for one extra breakfast, we discovered that the prize for it was very steep compared to what other hotels charge for breakfast alone.... The hotel is trying to achieve fashionable status but lacks some basic comfort a business traveller would normally expect from a 3ish star hotel. For example, there is no chair in the room and instead there is a stool box to sit at your desk. This is not pleasant if you want to sit and read a book as the... More

Wonderful, creative rooms, excellent breakfast of sandwiches, Danish pastry, drinks, good yoghurts and coffee. No desk in the room, by the way, impractical if you have work to do. Be sure to bring your reference number - I forgot mine after making my reservation by phone and was treated with suspicion and arrogance by the reception staff, who told me... More

We spent 3 nights at the Fox Hotel. The room was really tiny (approximately 10m2, 2 beds, no chair, 1 wardrobe, 1 tiny TV which does not face the beds, very few light (not possible to open the blinds!). The bathroom was fine with bathtube, toilet, 2 big towels and 1 small (for 2 people), 2 soaps and 2 shower/shampoo... More

Dear guest, Thank you for your review. In cities in Europe, hotel rooms are always quite small and Hotel Fox is no exception. However, as described on our webpage, our rooms are categorized in four different sizes and vary in size from 12 m2 to 36 m2, so we have plenty of other rooms bigger than the one you stayed... More

I spent 2 nights at this really original and atypical hotel. All the rooms are different in style and designed by various artists and you can choose your own. Ours was on the fifth floor, just under the roof ( the only minor problem was to walk around the bed !! ) and had a large and comfortable bed, a... More

I just came back from Copenhagen where I stayed at Fox Hotel for 5 nights. I liked it! The location is very convenient (close to the center and yet quiet). I found the design of the room very unique and cozy! Very special. I had a large comfortable bed and the room was clean. The size of the bathroom was... More

Dear guest, Thank you for you elaborate review! At Hotel Fox, we want our guests to be able to take a break from the city noise just outside the door, so I am very delighted to read that this is something you noticed and appreciated. As Hotel Fox was last renovated in 2005, where each room was decorated with specially... More

I really didn't like my stay at the Fox Hotel. It didn't meet our expectations! The room (211) was DISGUSTING! the carpet was dirty, curtains as well, bedbugs... We then changed to the room 408 were there was a smell of cigaret and dirty carpet as well. The reception DIDN'T even propose us any compensation, even breakfast or refund. In... More

Dear guest, Thank you for your review. I am sorry the hotel did not meet your expectations. However, some of the details you list are simply not true. First of all, I will heavily emphasize that we do not have bedbugs and have never had bedbugs. This is a horrible accusation! Second of all, our rooms are not dirty. As... More

I stayed here for two nights. It appealed as a funky hotel, something different. And yes, true to form, one wall of the room was covered in with an interesting design. But it is was the other walls that disappointed and cried out to see a clean cloth run over then. The room was run-down, worn and ill-kempt. The size... More

Stayed at Fox Hotel for 3 nights in March , rooms were a little worn but clean. Breakfast was nice and the staff was helpfull. Across the street there is a park with a restaurant in the end as well as a marked for food and wine , go there !!

Dear Guest This tip is a really good one! The park is called Ørstedparken and the café in the opposite corner is a very popular spot for the Copenhageners during summer for relaxation in the green. The new Market Halls close by opened only half a year ago and they are a wonderful place for exploring food. Best regards Management... More

I chose this hotel because it looked kooky and fun. The room is designed like the picture shows but this place is gross. The bed is like a pullout sofa, only 2 pillows total in the room. SO UNCOMFORTABLE. The shower is leaky and awkward, I almost fell twice in there because of the cheap ikea shower curtain was sticking... More

Dear Guest We are sorry that you didn’t like Hotel Fox, but we know that Hotel Fox is not to every ones taste. Regarding the shower, we would like to meet your criticism, but we can’t change the size of the bath rooms until we rebuild the hotel. We will try to investigate if the shower space could be made...
