I stayed here for a couple of days, and first of all I must say it was definitely not the filthy hole I was expecting after reading some of the reviews here. It was quite sparsely equipped and the quality was probably not the best, but it was clean and fully functional. One might be better off bearing in mind... more

We stayed a weekend at hotel fox. The location of the hotel is rather good near to center of Copenhagen and the main train station. The hotel is also located right next to a small park. First we were contacted by the hotel staff just a week before the holiday by email that our booking had been moved to a... more

Read reviews on here after we had booked and was very apprehensive. The hotel was not the filthy hole I was led to believe and was very clean throughout the foyer and corridors. Our room could of been a bit cleaner and felt a bit rundown. The towels were not exactly luxurious egyptian cotton and was just one area where... more

Fun, central place to stay with lovely staff who were most hospitable. We (couple) had booked a small double room but found our room had a problem with the light. We were moved instantly to a much larger one with no extra charge for the whole of our 4 night stay. We enjoyed the breakfasts and dinner in the Japanese... more

it was the worst, dirty, dusty hotel ever!!! I don't want to remember my 3 nights there! it was so dusty that I started to sneeze and my eyes started to water after my first evening. I sneezed non stop for 3 days!!! I'm alergic to dust and it was the worst vacation ever. in the website when you see... more

I’m sorry to hear about the bad experience you had at our hotel. But I also think it’s too bad that you apparently didn’t tell the reception about your problem with the dust, as I’m sure that we could have solved your problem. We could have tried, anyway. Some rooms are more suited for allergics than others, and we have...

Varied rooms all with a theme, not the most comfortable but fun as a change of scenery. The staff seem to have the customer service skills of a moody, depressed adolescent......all being said though the location of the Hotel was quite good, just a few minutes walk from the centre of town. This is a hotel for young visitors who do not require... more

I have worked in the travel trade for 15 years so I have experienced many hotels - but this was by far the biggest fraud in a long time. Do not look at their web page and think thats what you will get... no... the hotel is dirty, smelly and faul. The staff is ignorant (some of them really try... more

The Fox hotel is a very unusual hotel and definitely unique compared to other hotels in both Copenhagen and all of Denmark. When you’ve travelled a lot, you’ve probably stayed in lots of somewhat similar hotels, and you’ve come to expect some very specific things in regards to such things as breakfast, decorations and the likes. Fox will probably not...

I was recommended this hotel by a secretary of a local company. Stayed here a couple of days, first in a room on the second floor. but did not like this room. No descent curtains to block the lights from the street. Also you could hear the neighbours peeing when they were using the toilet. Moved to another room also... more

The design is out of the ordinary, but it’s definitely not done by a cheap wannabe artist. The hotel is decorated by 21 international artists who work in the fields of street art, graphic design, comics and the like. Most of them are pretty avant-garde, but some have worked for clients as Virgin, Sony, MTV, Miramax and lots of other...

After booking a nights stay at Hotel Fox through their website and receiving confirmation, my husband + I arrived to check-in (on our wedding anniversary) and were told we were going to be moved to a sister hotel as they had overbooked! The girl behind the counter was very rude, dismissive and flippant remarking that this was quite normal business... more

Overbookings do happen from time to time. It’s not something we like either, but it’s hard to avoid. Sometimes it’s our own fault, other times unexpected things happens (like a room going out of order because of a plumbing-problem – which leaves us with a big problem if the hotel is fully booked). We usually handle this by apologizing, finding...
