Don’t be fooled by the “design tag”. A wall painted in what some may consider “artistic” doesn’t work for a truly designed, boutique kind of place. I have booked a medium size room, but I got an upgrade. Imagine my surprise, when, door opened I faced the smallest room I have been ever in. I got downstairs to double-check. Yes,... more

We were booked here for 2 nights, but bailed after one. The first room we checked into was so dingy and smelled like smoke. I called the front desk to ask for another room, that didn't smell like smoke, and while they weren't exactly rude....they certainly didn't apologize or seem to care about the inconvenience. The halls have cigarette burns... more

I highly recommend this urban, boutique hotel. Friendly staff that meets your every need if you ask politely. Terrific views, a great place to lay in bed and stare out the window. Only complaint is heating/cooling systems are a little noisy. more

I stayed for a couple of nights in a single room which was actually a decent size considering the normal Copenhagen example. The place was also incredibly clean and pretty good value for such a central hotel. I liked the idea of each room being designed by a different artist, but the hotel doesn't really pull it off. I'd be... more

I was recommended this by a Danish business partner as being a cool hotel. The website looks fantastic, with all the rooms by different designers, but fails to mention that the owners have not spent a cent on the place since. My Japanese Room 'Wa' would have been nice if the carpet hadn't been heavily stained with some mysterious white... more

This hotel is a good place to stay for those who want something funky and original that is well located for the city. But don't expect an elegant, upscale boutique hotel. As advertised, each room is done by a different designer. The designs range from fun to a little disturbing, but they are always striking and entirely original. The rooms... more

The main thing to keep in mind when considering this hotel is that it is part of your experience rather than just somewhere to lay your head. We chose it because of the unique rooms and were not dissapointed. We stayed for two nights in the Toki Doki room and thought it was great. Although we turned up early in... more

I stayed here for business and luckily only had to endure the Hotel Fox for 1 night. I don't even know where to start... Service - staff were polite and 'ultra' modern & funky but I couldn't help feeling like I was queuing in HMV. Breakfast was shocking, they turn the reception into a breakfast bar and you are just... more

This is, especially considering the costs, the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Sure, the concept of different rooms being designed by different artists sounds appealing, but that can never make up for the wear and tear, the lack of aminities and plain dirtiness. The idea of individualized rooms is not very original, and a couple of cool examples can... more

This was a great and unique experience. We stayed for 2 nights before our flight back to the states. It's in a great location, 5 blocks from the main shopping street and town center, around the corner from the university area. It's street parking, with 2 lots right in front. To the airport, it's about a 20 min drive. The... more
