I stayed two nights at the Hotel Bethel and enjoyed my stay. The staff were friendly and the breakfast room was open for teas/coffees all the time. My (single) room was small but had everything I needed and the bed was comfortable. My only dislike was the wetroom aspect of the bathroom. Altho there was a shower curtain, I needed... More

We were only in Copenhagen for two days, but this hotel was perfect for our stay. We stayed in room 131 with a view of the canal. It was splendid. The room was decent size and bathroom clean and compact. The breakfast was substantial. It included breads, danishes, fruits, jams, meats, oats, juices, milks, hard boiled eggs. It was all... More

Loved the location of this hotel. If you like being close to nightlife while enjoying picturesque views, this is the place for you. You will never go hungry in this location because right across the street is a strip of open air restaurants that serve everything you can think of. The canal is beautiful and makes for the perfect backdrop... More

The hotel is located in an old building adjacent to the Nyhavn canal, which is in my opinion the most picturesque part of Copenhagen. It is also not far from most sights in the city and is close to the Kongens Nytorv Metro station. I would recommend paying the extra to get a room with a view over the canal... More

Nice little hotel on the corner in Nyhaven (New Harbor). Close to hop on and off buses, harbor tours, lots of restaurants, shopping areas, etc. People are very friendly and breakfast buffet is small but adequate.

We arrived by subway from the airport at 9 A.M. We were exhausted and thought we would drop off our luggage and go somewhere for breakfast. However, the staff of the Bethel invited us to have breakfast in their dining area and told us that our room would be available in 2 hours. They made a point of cleaning our... More

Five of us, old friends of many years standing, spent five nights here. Thank you, dear old Trip Advisor, for alerting us to this excellent hotel. Thankfully it does not look much from the outside - if it did it would be twice as popular and much more expensive. Inside, everything is just fine. Good, helpful receptionists, comfortable rooms, everything... More

This hotel is in a great location in Nyhavn and is close to tourist attractions. The room was small, the bathroom small and you have no room to move within the room. The view from the window was amazing. The breakfast had some choices and was pleasant enough. Staff were friendly. It is in a 5 star location but is... More

We loved this Hotel situated in the main Nyhavn area overlooking the canal. Loads of cafes and restaurants and within walking distance of the Palace and the Fort. Our room had a fabulous view and we felt extremely pleased with the hotel's position, which was a happy surprise. Really great staff who were prepared to have a laugh with you.... More

We stayed at the Bethel for two nights pre-cruise and are definitely happy that we did. Its location makes it perfect for getting around Copenhagen and the view from our rooms (we did have rooms that faced the canal) was picture perfect! It is so convenient to have a nice breakfast served right in the hotel. We used public transportation... More
