I could tell the minute we walked in that this hotel was going to be great. We stumbled in from our overnight flight, and were told that our room would be ready within half an hour; would we like to have coffee in the breakfast room while we waited? That set the tone for a great two-day stay, with exceedingly... More

This was our second time staying at Hotel Bethel. This is such a great little hotel, perfectly situated on Nyhavn. It is a great value in a very expensive city. We booked a small room at the back (In fact I think it may have been the same room we had several years ago!). Although there is no view on... More

I have stayed here about five times. In recent years it has become necessary to book well in advance (thanks TA!). This is not surprising, many of the rooms have great views of the picturesque Nyhavn. This former seamen's hostel is not luxurious, but then neither is the price. Staff are friendly and welcoming, there is an excellent choice at... More

Very rarely do I post poor reviews but this hotel gets one even though we didn't stay here. We had booked four rooms, three for two nights and one room for four nights. When the first couple arrived the Bethel said there was no room booked for them and after a frenzied text session with me in France, I emailed... More

Hotel Bethel was the first stop on a two week whirlwind thru Scandinavia. We started and finished in Copenhagen. From the minute we arrived at the doorstep, I knew this was a special place just based on location alone. Right on Nyhavn. You are right there. The building is old and full of charm and character. Just a few doors... More

I'll HIGHLY recommend this unique hotel for its superb location and outstanding services. i'm not going to repeat the great location commented in the other reviews but I'll add my personal experience of their outstanding services. I lost my passport on the day I arrived Copenhagen but it was not until late at night when I discovered the lost. Poul,... More

Best part of this hotel is its location - right in the heart of Nyhavn. Plus we could see Nyhavn from our room. We booked the Family Room eventhough it was just me & my wife staying, as the hotel was fully booked. Our Family Room on Level 1 was large with a king size bed and an extra single... More

This was a good place in a great location. We came in on the overnight ship from Oslo, and so it was an easy walk from the (free) shuttle bus stop to here. We walked everywhere - to the Little Mermaid to Carlsbad Brewery to Christianshavn. Room was large, closet, comfortable bed, windows opened to let in breeze and light.... More

We (family of 4 with teens) stayed a night before and a night after our cruise. The location is absolutely perfect, close to restaurants , walking distance to a grocery-liquor store, metro station and many must do sights in Copenhagen. We stayed in the family room (sleeps 4) and then had 2 rooms close together. The rooms are small and simple,... More

Hotel Bethel is in the perfect Copenhagen location. It is on the street you visualize when you think of Copenhagen -- Nyhavn! We could see the canal and colorful buildings out our room's window. The room was small and functional. The bathroom shower was a corner in the room with no lip to keep water off the floor. However, it... More
