The location is definitely the big plus of this hotel. Furthermore there is friendly staff, a rather good breakfast and free wifi throughout the hotel. A huge drawback is the catastrophic insulation between the rooms. We could here everything from our neighbors bathroom (incl. every word they talked, their peeing (yes that's ugly), every small thing they put somewhere, etc.).... More

Clean, comfortable and affordable in a very expensive city. Location is directly on the canal. Can be a little noisy because of location. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room and hotel were very clean. Our room was recently updated. We would stay here again.

Spent three nights at this great value hotel in Copenhagen. The old building is full of character with dome shaped windows overlooking the canal. The rooms were clean, comfortable and the wi-fi was reliable. The location, right in the heart of the city, but quiet beside a canal, is ideal for exploring on foot. Breakfasts were fine, with a good... More

This hotel is very central with all the key attractions in walking distance. We stayed in a corner room and had fabulous views over Nyvahn. The hotel had free wifi and the breakfast was better than expected with a good selection of bread, cheese, meat and pastries. The staff were very helpful and we were able to leave our luggage... Copenhagen was so much more enjoyable than we imagined it would be. We spent 5 nights based at Bethel in Nyhavn and could easily have spent another week enjoying all that Copenhagen has to offer. The Copenhagen Card, although expensive, was worth every DKK - it is one of the best value city cards that we have had. The Hotel... More

This hotel has a fab location and offers free wifi and free breakfast (which was very good!) The room is basic-but very clean and has everything you need. If you're looking for something fancy this is not the place for you-but with the wonderful surroundings..... why would you be spending much time in your room? Would definitely stay here again.

I stayed in Bethel for only one night. Great location in Nyhavnen - one of the most visited places in Copenhagen with lots of cafés and restaurants. From the airport you take the metro straight to Kongens Nytorv - it takes aprox 13 min. Then there is a nice 5 min walk to the hotel where you will see Hotel... More

We stayed at Hotel Bethel for 4 nights in November 2014. The rooms are very good value for Copenhagen and to have the breakfast included was a real bonus. Although fairly basic in decor, the room was everything we needed. It was clean and a very good size with a good size bathroom. The bed was comfortable, there was a... More

We were more than happy with our stay at the Somandshjemmet Bethel Hotel. We took advice from previous reviews and booked a corner room. We were not disappointed. After leaving our cruise ship, the HoponHopoff bus took us to the corner opposite the hotel for free providing we bought a day pass which of course we were intending to do.... More

Excellent choice in CPH: best location, fair rates, courteous & helpful staff, and delicious breakfast ( perfectly soft and hot soft-boiled eggs! ). The hotel ambiance is old-world and very charming. It is at the beautiful Nyhavn and very near all the places that are worth visiting. We took the Hop-On Hop-Off tour, and the stop is just across the... More
