The strength of this hotel lies in its location. Close by is for instance the Nyhavnen, the pedestrian street Ströget, theaters and restaurants. The nearest Metro station is within 10 minutes walking distance. The room I stayed in was small but functional and clean. The staff in reseption was friendly and helpful.

The hotel is conveniently centrally located - near to Nyhavn, the opera house (det Kongelige Teater) at Kongens Nytorv, the famous Ströget and so on. Beside this there is nothing really to remember: Small clean rooms, more or less helpful staff, breakfast is OK. Prices are OK as well. But Copenhagen was again worth the visit! The best (special) thing... More

The hotel's location is great for getting to many of the key sights in central Copenhagen. Tucked away from the busy streets it was quiet yet only a few blocks to the waterfront, Nyhaven, and the Stroget. While the decor is a bit dated, the hotel was very clean, beds were very comfortable, and the price included breakfast which had... More

What this hotel has going for it is location (close to Nyhavn) and a decent breakfast room and spread. However the rooms are reminiscent of an old Motel 6, or for European travelers a small old Ibis. Whoever gives out stars for hotels in Copenhagen gives the Maritime one too many IMHO. It would be an acceptable 2 star hotel;... More

Smallest double room ever in 35 years of traveling in Europe. Small double bed is like a rubber raft for two people. Shower leaks on floor. Bumped forehead on the opposing wall getting up from toilet. Room is quiet and breakfast adequate only. Good location, but for a bit more would stay at the best western across the street. No... More

The rooms are small as is the elevator, but that is Europe. I really liked the hotel. It is in a great location and the staff was both helpful and friendly. They had a very good breakfast. It was clean and well maintained. I will go there again and recommend the hotel to others.

If traveling during a cooler month, and all things considered, this is a GREAT two-star hotel. Be prepared to sign a waiver at check-in that releases the hotel from any and all liability whatsoever. So if the hotel is unsafe, you agree beforehand that you are willing to take your chances. In 30 years of business travel, I have never... More

I spent three weekday nights here in August 2014. The hotel is mid-block on a quiet street close to Nyhavn and the harbour, near to the Kongens Nytorv metro station which is on an airport line. I had a single room on the fourth floor with private shower and bathroom; the room had its desk and bed and a single... More

2 nights in Copenhagen with tour group - guide said the hotel would be "crappy" but it was no worse than any other hotel on the tour and better than some. Typical for no a/c, small quirky bathrooms, decent breakfast. Located on a quiet street with other tourist hotels, short walk to harbor and Nyhavn, longer walk to other attractions
