Right next to the train station. Very easy to walk to Tivoli and many sites in Copenhagen. Nice courtyard. However, the laundry that they say they have is really down the street at their sister hotel.

Affordable for Copenhagen, but you'd get more from a 2.5 star hotel in the U.S. We had 4 people in a room. Small bathroom without separation, so water got everywhere every time someone showered. There is no AC. Wifi is fickle, slow. The walls are thin, and there is current construction nearby, so we awoke to that each morning. The... More

Me and my husband have stayed at this hotel twice now so we obviously find it fine. The great part about it is the location. Really close to the central station, tivoli and restaurants. The rooms are a bit small but clean with a lot of TV-channels. There is a closed in yard in the middle if it where people... More

city centre hotel is very basic, you get what you pay for here, no frills BUT it is walking distance from the train station, Tivoli and the main shopping street Stroget. The bathrooms are mainly tiny wet rooms and we found the rooms little too hot. The breakfast is ok and it's fine for a cheap city mini-break. Don't try... More

We chose this hotel based on location and availability since we were booking only a week ahead. It is very close to central station and tivoli. The room was spacious enough for thge two of us, even had a couch. However, i might not recommend this to friends. Cons: Very old and dated rooms and furniture. All water from the... More

The hotel is just behind the railway station and very close to Tivoli and the rest of Copenhagen City. This was the third time we stayed at this hotel and we have always been satisfied with the rooms and the personal service at the lobby. The breakfast is good but there are too few tables in the courtyard. It is... More

Stay somewhere else. Good location near central train station & Tivoli Gardens. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. My room smelt of stale smoke. Very small twin room. Old crappy showerhead in the shower. Awful acoustics to adjoining rooms. Even the floor boards in my room squeaked when people in the adjoining rooms walked around! There was a safe in... More

Just arrived back from Copenhagen after staying for 3 nights at the Ansgar Hotel. Very friendly reception when we arrived - myself, husband and four friends. We were early about 12 noon and room was ready. Rooms a little snug but had 3 beds in each one. Spotlessly clean, lovely walk in shower room with soap dispensers and adequate towels.... More

My friend and I stayed at the Ansgar hotel from 29th May until 1st June 2014. The hotel is close to the railway station which is very comfortable. The rooms are quite small, however, clean and have comfortable beds. The bathrooms were newly decorated and very nice. We were quite early in the morning which was an advantage because it... More

I spent 4 great nights in Copenhagen staying at the Ansgar Hotel. It was really close to central station, easy to find and spotlessly clean. We had a triple room (3 girlfriends) which was spacious and well serviced everyday. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Breakfast is great - cold buffet (except for warm eggs) with lots... More
