If you don't mind sleeping (as a couple) on two single beds put together with uncomfortable mattresses in a hot shoe box with cranky staff for the price of a 4 star hotel then this is your place! Otherwise don't go here. There are pluses though, mainly the location and breakfast. Both are excellent! But rest, unfortunately, just isn't. Rooms... More

Spent 4 nights here, rooms are small but they are ok, Reception staff were friendly. We didn't think much of breakfast but then we don't like continental breakfast. It is closer to the station than you think, there was a lot of construction work going on, so you had to walk the long way round rather than straight across! If... More

We stayed here for one night in a room for three people. We knew from the reviews and the hotel description, that rooms are small. As we only stayed one night, we all felt, that it was totally ok. Knowing hotel prices in Denmark, this was fine for us. The room was clean and there was no smell (others described... More

The Hotel Ansgar, said to be situated next to the Central Station, is really hard to find if you do not know exactly where it is. After 30 minutes trying to find the hotel, I went into the Radisson SAS hotel to ask direction. Within 10 minutes I was in the street of the hotel. I could see the sign... More

Tiny, old fashioned rooms. Questionable cleanliness. Uncomfortable beds. Paper thin walls, so you can hear the neighbours ablutions clearly. No lift without going up half a flight of stairs first, and no one offers to help with luggage up the stairs. Questionable part of town.

The hotel was the worst I ever stayed at! The room was the size of a shoebox, the bathroom smelly, beds uncomfortable, the room got unbearably hot when the radiator was on, or very cold when we opened the window. It got very stuffy at night with 2 people sleeping in a shoebox. The room service kept cleaning the room... More

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night only and chose it because it was close to the center and had wifi. The room smelled sewage and we had to keep the window open to breath in there. There were no toiletries, towel was thin and over washed. The double bed was in reality two single narrow beds that looked... More

I stayed here in November 2013 in a single room. It was an excellent, well located little place, although a little hard to find because of the metro construction close by if you exit out the front of central station. Once I realised you can walk to the opposite end of the central station platform, up the stairs, turn right... More

The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. We weren't expecting luxury having read the recent reviews. The room was small but adequate, bathroom small but a decent shower. The one minor complaint would be the wafting of cigarette smoke into our open window from the courtyard two floors below our room where smokers would gather. I... More

We had a family room facing the backyard. The room was nice and quiet. Breakfast (Scandinavian type) was included in the price. Make sure you're early, cause the restaurant got quite busy. The main bed was comfortable but the sofa bed was kind of hard.
