The saga hotel was prime location to the train station, a 2 min walk! Greeted by the staff they were not welcoming and slightly rude, we needed To do washing and as they had to take us down to explain, they acted like it was a massive inconvenience for them, it took 2 minutes. They made us feel very uncountable... More

Me and my friend stayed at saga hotel for two nights. The hotel itself was fine it was what you would expect for a budget hotel, it was clean and the location was great. However the staff where dreadful, my friend in particular dreaded walking past the reception desk and would get worried when we had to (they where that... More

We were one night in this hotel and I can say it is great for city break. Near railway station and city center. Good breakfast, comfortable beds, clean, easy to find, more then average for to people who want to visit Copenhagen for the weekend.

We stayed at this 'hotel' over the new year break and were left feeling very disappointed. The first thing to point out is that this hotel is located within the red light district of the city and there were undesirables hanging around the hotel at points during our stay. Location wise it is near the train station, but the city... More

It's hard to choose a hotel in Copenhagen as it's a very expensive city. Even though I got a good deal through a booking site, it was still overpriced for what you get. I had just come from a lovely hotel in Sweden which was cheaper by 25% per night and included the most amazing breakfast and lifts. This was... More

We booked it on short notice and thankfully it was available and very cheap. It couldn't be any closer to the train station and is smack bang in the centre of town, walking distance from things such as the carlsberg brewery and the town hall to name but two. It is very clean and has spacious rooms. We opted to... More

Good base considering the 5 mins walk away from the train station. Breakfast was also decent with variety of cold cuts, breads, pastries, yogurt and juices. Simply love their selection of cereals and toppings! Would love to return~

The hotel lived up to our expectations but we consider it more like a high end hostel. We shared a 5 person family room with 5 friends and it was good! The staff were helpful and friendly. Just over the street there were an alcohol shop called Bobbys that was open til midnight which was good.

We stayed for two nights. The rooms are small but just big enough. There is one shower and toilet for the whole level but it is always clean and you never have to wait. The hotel is really quiet and two minutes walk from the central station. There is a car park which you get 50 % off when you... More

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighborhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
