Charming old hotel attractively renovated. We appreciated the modern elevator when transporting our luggage, but enjoyed using the 1906 elevator at other times. Our room was small but comfortable; breakfast was exceptional with fresh yoghurt and berries, pate, assorted breads, cheeses, pastries, etc. Staff was friendly and helpful with tourist info and with boarding passes - especially Sara, Christian and... Central (nr to Central City station, Tivoli Gdns, shops, restaurants etc). Clean, bright Nordic design. Jette on Reception was wonderful (everyone speaks fluent English). Comfy family room (2 rooms attached with an internal door) - some outside noise (unavoidable in a city?). Breakfast suited to our European cousins (meats, cheese, rye bread etc) but did incl yogurt, fruit, jams, &... More

Ideally located about 10 minutes from the main train station in Vesterebro, a short walk from Tivoli, the Round Tower, Planetarium, Zoo and Carlsberg factory. If you're like me and like a morning run, there's a nice route starting just by the Planetarium (a 5 minute walk from the Savoy), routing round the perimeter of several lakes. Room was quite... More

We selected this hotel for its proximity to the train station, hoping it would help with our overnight in Copenhagen. Everything in Copenhagen is expensive, and this hotel is no exception. it's an older hotel with a fresh coat of paint inside. The carpets in some of the hallways and lobby show their age. Breakfast is included, and reception is... More

The breakfast was really good, nice assortment danish (delicious) breads (delicious) cold meats, cheese, yogart, fruit, hard/soft boiled eggs, a liquor you drink after like the Danes - very tasty with a kick. The staff was great, my suitcase didn't arrive with me and they checked on it for me luckily I got it the next day. Helpful with any... More

Great location. Excellent customer service. Very clean and comfortable room, even though it was a bit smaller then we were used to. Breakfast very good. There was a bit of noise from outside, but nothing too bad.

Hotel easy 15 minute walk from Stroeget and Tivoli, in interesting Vesterbro area but not worth the money. We had a medium-plus room, one of their larger rooms, and the only storage was hangers (three per person). My friend and I have both travelled in Europe and know European hotels, especially Scandinavian, do not have as much storage as North... More

Hotel is a ten minute walk from the train station, and easy enough to find. It presents well, the foyer is large and full of information. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming. This changed depending on who was working the reception when you needed it. We stayed three nights and were in room 312 at the end of the... More

The hotel was flooded or had a serious water leakage the day before we checked in so the lift at ground floor was spoiled. Extensive work was undergoing to repair the lift and replace the wallpaper and carpet at basement. An elderly lady attended to us when we checked in. She was very friendly and advised that we used the... More

Very disappointed in this hotel's accommodations. The room was small and lacked A/C which I know is normal for the area; however, our window opened to the trash bins so not the best option for fresh air especially when staff would smoke close to the window. The bathroom is about the size of two airplane bathrooms and the shower has... More
