I booked the Kong Arthur in the last minute to attend to a conference in Copenhagen and stayed there for only 2 nights. The staff was very nice, the room small but with everything you need. The only problem was the temperature in the room. I was in a room facing south during 2 sunny days. The room was designed... more

My colleague and I stayed at the Kong Arthur for 6 days partly work related and as tourists. We found the Hotel to be close enough to main train station to be able to walk ( about 15 mins) as we had to travel to a conference in Roskilde but located far enough out of the city centre to be... more

Stayed here for 2 nights in June for business. It was very central, offered a great breakfast. I didn't use the gym but it looked adequately fitted out - if a little small. The spa however was great - jacuzzi and then areas for chilling - just what you need after a busy day. It's within walking distance from the... more

Stayed here with my wife & teenage daughter for a weekend. It was very clean, stylish and distinctive. It had a real 'boutique' feel to it. Our room was very clean and seemed newly re-furbished. The breakfast conservatory was a real treat, and it was warm enough to take coffee outside in the sunshine. It's slightly out of the city... more

I was staying at another hotel of the same group (Danmark) as my stay was extended I had to find another one and Danmark had no vacancy. I received a good price on this one online and was glad for a change to a much better hotel. Many of the comments in earlier postings provide an accurate description of facts,... more

Just spent a few nights at the Kong Arthur. Location is a little out of the way but a very nice area, near a pretty canal and within walking distance of the centre. The nearby metro and train station also has direct links to the airport and to Roskilde (well worth a visit). The "junior suite" was a large room... more

Good hotels in Copenhagen are harder to find that you'd think -- and this is a real gem. Full of character -- and light and airy too -- with an exceptionally helpful staff, rooms that manage to be both comfortable and elegant, a wonderful inner courtyard that captures the sun, and a great location: a quiet spot, but everything you... more

This hotel has a great location - in the middle of everything yet not on a busy street. We had a rather small room but who needs anything else when vacationing in Europe. I would have given this hotel a perfect score if it were not for 2 things. 1. Too many stairs when you first arrive and nobody to... more

I stayed at the Kong Arthur recently for three nights. I was impressed with the hotel and I am very particular. I booked a superior single room which was beautifully presented and immaculately clean. The room was one of the largest single rooms I have had in Europe. It was spacious with beautiful wooden floors and ultra modern furnishings –... more

This is a very good place all around. On the positive side: It is in a nice part of the city, rather laid-back and certainly more quiet and clean than some other neighborhoods (I'm thinking of Vesterboro and close to the city hall). It's a bit north of all the action, but we prefer being in a quiet area for... more
