We have just returned from a 2 day stay at the Kong Arthur, in a Junior Suite. The hotel is located very close to the train station at Vesterport (so if coming from the airport don't get off at the central station wait for the next stop and walk... it's less than 5 minutes - tickets from the airport are... more

We stayed at the Hotel Kong Arthur twice in October, the first time my wife and I were on our own, and the room provided was of a good size, clean and comfortable, with a very large bathroom. We were back there a week later with our teenage daughter, and despite booking a room suitable in size for 3 adults,... more

Dear “DCHMelbourne” Thank you for appreciating our hotel in general! You found your room size too small. The hotel has a range of rooms going from small to very large rooms. Of course the large rooms are more expensive than the small rooms. The rates at Hotel Kong Arthur are at the same level as comparable 4 star hotels in...

We enjoyed our 4-night stay at the Kong Arthur. The hotel was elegant and comfortable, and service was good. The location is decent, though not as central to the tourist sites as some of the other hotels near Nyhavn and Christiansborg. This hotel is in more of a real neighborhood, near the lakes and University. We had bikes so it... more

I took my elderly mother to Denmark for a weekend break and we stayed at the Kong Arthur. Really lovely hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. The room was lovely in design, the bed comfortable, good choice for breakfast and the catering staff very attentive. Nice size TV in the room. Honestly for the price and what we got I... more

I picked this hotel as I do many from the previous comments made by people on this site, and I have to say I was a little disapointed with the Hotel. The Location was good just a short walk from the Metro and only 20 mins from the airport altogether. Reception service was first class, and the decor and public... more

Dear “GaryEngland” We are glad to hear that you after all found the reception service nice. This is one of the points, which we ourselves attach much importance to! The restaurants are just across the patio, so we don’t think it should be a problem to anyone to get there! Well, it snows once in a while in Denmark. The...

We stayed for 3 nights at Kong Arthur. Based on these reviews and Kong Arthur's homepage, expectations were high. The service at the front desk was very friendly and nice. Our room was on the first floor facing the patio. The room was smaller than expected. A car and a trailer with some old furniture obviously going to the dumping... more

Dear "odac0va" We are sorry that our hotel didn’t meet your expectations! Here are our comments to your complaints: Actually Hotel Kong Arthur would be a five star hotel if we had air-condition. We chose not to install air-condition due to our energy saving policy and the global climate problems. Besides, in Denmark we just love the rare hot days,...

I have stayed in a number of 4* hotels on business over the last few months and Hotel Kong Arthur has to come out top. Professional yet friendly service, clean rooms, good breakfast. Well located for restaurants and close to town yet a peaceful hotel. more

I was so so scared after reading some of the recent reviews on Trip advisor , but we were booked in from 13/9-17/9 and had already paid up for the room so had no option but to check it out. We were so so pleasantly surprised. Firstly will not be able to comment upon the rooms because we were upgraded... more

I stayed in this hotel during a business assignment in the city, each week for 11 weeks this summer. Having tried the SAS Royal and Scandinavia I moved to this hotel - and then never moved on, which must say something. Plus points are that it is much more homely and comfortable place to stay than the other more corporate... more

As a frequent user of Trip Advisor, I must say it was the first time that I felt really disappointed with the hotel I chose to stay in Copenhagen based on the reviews made by other guests. We stayed 6 nights at the Kong Arthur Hotel, (check in: 17 August, check out: 23 August) in a superior room (room 410).... more
