We stayed 3 nights in the Copenhagen Crown and we were happy with the accommodation we got for a very reasonable price. Having looked at some extortionately priced hotels, albeit in exchange for a more sophisticated room we decided to stay somewhere functional as ultimately we wouldn't be spending that much time in the room!! The hotel is in Vestrebro... More

Lots of mixed reviews and well-earned, I'm afraid. Everyone at the hotel was very nice but our first room (112) was directly over the new restaurant that opened just the night before. Our room overlooked the hotel entry courtyard and it was noisy, noisy, NOISY! Wheelie bins being dragged out, people's voices at night and again as people were leaving... More

My room on the first floor above the ground fortunately faced the inner courtyard so there was no street noise. By European standards it was of a satisfactory size but tight, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a good size with a shower but unfortunately its drain blocked on first use so towels on the floor had... More

This was our first visit to copenhagen and we had a lovely time. The crowne is in an excellent location and perfect for exploring the city. The breakfast was wonderful so we were surprised to see the other reviews. The choice was truly continental so myself and my partner feasted on cold meats, fresh cheeses, interesting bread, pate, fruit, eggs,... More

Lovely room but considering I paid 880 Danish Kroner per night or $180 AUD, I expected free wifi in the room. I had to pay 50 kroner for 24 hours only to discover later that the lobby wifi worked in my room. The fan in the bathroom ran 24hours and very noisy. Buffet breakfast was nice but simple. Staff were... More

I only didn't give this 1 star because of the location. The bed was clean but the room smelled musty. Everything in the bathroom is old and needs updating. The toilet is stained and the shower is broken.

Comfortable, clean, functional - what more do you need? Excellent location - can't fault it. Good buffet breakfast in the restaurant on the 5th floor - nice way to start the day. Beds comfortable and staff helpful.

A pretty average hotel with the advantage of its quiet location and friendly staff. Set back of the main road so away from traffic noise and just a few minutes walk from the Central Station. No frills room , very standard shower room. Perfect for a one or two night stopover. Breakfast was sufficient but not over the top with... More

Ended up staying on the 2nd floor facing the inner courtyard, so there was practically NO view from the room at all. At least it was quiet. The room was clean, including the carpet, a bit small for 2, and the toilet/bathroom rather Spartan. The air conditioning was not really working the way it should have; the air in the... More

If your hotel needs are not geared toward little niceties, you'll be fine in this hotel. The rooms are spartan in a pared-down Danish modern style, but clean and adequate. The carpets could have been cleaner, but I've encountered stained carpets in hotels everywhere...people are slobs, let's face it. The room was small, but not claustrophobic. Our room overlooked the... More
