What a find! We stayed there for 5 nights and enjoyed every minute of it. Axel is a small hotel with just over 100 rooms. but we liked that because the staff recognised you and remembered what drinks you liked. The rooms were great with a four poster bed, balcony, stone oval bath and amazing smelling products. In Denmark, as... More

We stayed here earlier this month and we really enjoyed our short stay. The room was comfortable and well decorated and the staff at the front desk was very helpful with dinner recommendations and for finding our way around the city. The only issue was there was almost no soundproofing. We could hear people in the hall very clearly and... More

I picked this hotel because of its organic breakfast and spa facilities. The food served in breakfast was very delicious. I like the bath tub in the bathroom and the skin products provided in the spa area. I can still remember the smell of the orange body scrub. The hotel is close to the Central Station but it's just not... More

This is a very nice, small hotel that is VERY green and has one of the very best breakfasts I've had anywhere in the world. The location is great (very near the train station and the meatpacking district where there are three scrumptious restaurants) and the property is exceptionally clean and comfortable. Nor, more about those breakfasts--lattes are available on... More

Front desk and roomservice is great, but the restaurant have some issues with service. They seem to lack experience. The rooms are incredibly small, and I (a normal 170 cm, 79 kg man) almost felt claustrophobic in the bathroom. The beds are really nice an comfortable, and the rooms are clean. Nice eco friendly amenities. The neighbourhood on the other... More

We stayed for two nights and everything went just fine. The hotel had breakfast on the offering but it seemed so pricy that we decided to skip it. Rooms was smallish but quite nice in all respects. However there is a need for some renovation soon... Location was good, next to the central station and close to the "meatpacking district".

The hotel is nice, the call it a green hotel. The room I had reserved wasn't available because of plumbing issues so they compensated by giving me free access to the sauna which I didn't use. The room was nicely decorated and clean but the bed was smaller than what I had originally reserved, but comfortable. There was a small... More

This was certainly an eco-friendly hotel, from the foyer, to the breakfast to the rooms etc. The room was very comfortable and the service was great. Its location is central although it does seem to be on the edge between tourist town and the more seedier section.

Conveniently located hotel, short walk from Tivoli Gardens. We loved the Eco friendly ways of the hotel, very comfortable bed, powerful shower. At first I was skeptical about the towels in the bathroom, but was pleasantly surprised and quickly won-over by the non-fluffy material that I'd have expected as a tea towel in the kitchen. We went for a double... More

We spent 4 nights here in August. We chose this hotel mainly because of its location and their eco-friendly concept. The standard room is small but comfortable and charming. The double bed was actually two single beds, I did not like that. Bathroom is nicely decorated but without any area to keep toiletries so it gets very messy. Opposed from... More
