My wife and I stayed at d'Angleterre a weekend only to enjoy the luxury of this hotel. And we were certainly not dissapointed. The entire hotel is an experience of total luxury and since the renovation of the hotel it just has reached new standards. Nothing were left to coincidences. PROS: High-end luxury Fantastic beds and bathroom Loved the decor... More

Scandinavian has few fabulously luxurious hotels. Iconic hotels where uncompromising quality, excellent taste, personal and professional service is present naturally and unceremoniously. Hotel d'Angleterre, in central Copenhagen and next to Kongens Nytorv, belong to the exclusive club, "Leading Hotels of the World". Already at the opening at their current address in 1795, the d'Angleterre was one of the world's first... More

The hotel was beautiful. We stayed here twice in 2 weeks. Our first room, a Deluxe, was beautiful but European small. On our return visit we were upgraded to a junior suite, which was fantastic. The staff was pleasant, but not at all warm. Its the little things that make a hotel spectacular and this place comes close, but misses.... More

Gorgeous and elegant hotel with excellent staff. We got upgraded to a junior suite which was beautifully appointed. My husband thought the beds to be too soft for his liking. Our room 124 had quite a bit of street noise. Overall, I would highly recommend.

I arrived at the D'angleterre on a rainy October night after a full day of business meetings and international travel, literally, on planes, trains and automobiles. I was weary with jet lag, but my mood picked up as my taxi approached the hotel and I looked out the window and saw the beautiful white facade of the D'angleterre lit up... More

We stayed a single night in September to celebrate our anniversary. Inside and outside the hotel is in perfect condition after the major renovation. Location is very central with many sights within walking distance. Friendly reception by doorman and efficient and genuine personal service form the front desk at check-in. We were upgraded form the deluxe room we reserved to... More

We travelled from Britain with a Group supporting the World Finals of our Young Sommelier competition and was expecting a dinner in a hotel of the standing of D'Angleterre to be something really exceptional. The setting is impressive, the three course meal did no favours to the chef bearing in mind the keen interest his audience had in fine dining... More

this hotel is absolutely gorgeous. From the moment you walk in, you are surrounded by beautiful flowers, furnitures and good looking people. All the rooms are spacious and modern upscale also if the hotel is an historical building. the colors of the rooms change if they face north, south, east or west. Spotless and chic. We have some wine and... More

Right in the middle of everything in Copenhagen. This beautiful hotel makes you feel like you have stepped back into history (without neglecting the luxuries of modern living!). An Andy Warhol silkscreen of Queen Margrethe of Denmark sits over the reception desk and there is plenty of modern art mostly by Danish artists; i was disappointed to miss two Per... More

Husband and i Stayed here for 2 nights in June. We were concerned about the construction we read about but it was never an issue in terms of noise or getting around. This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. Luxurious room, bathroom, and foyer. Only kink was the wait for the room. Restaurant was lovely but... More
