The location is excellent, just 5 minutes walk from the central station. The rooms are clean and comfortable, not very big but good enough for just spending the night. Facilities are basic but good. Only negative point is that we booked a twin-bed room, but at arrival there were no twin rooms left. The staff was very helpful and friendly... more

We stayed here for 2 nights in June 2009 as part of a Globus tour. This hotel is a two minute walk from Tivoli and a 5-10 minute walk to the pedestrian shopping street. There are ATMs and 5-6 restaurants located within a 2-5 minute walk of the hotel and many more on the main pedestrian shopping street. Our room... more

We booked a standard doubble room, and the rooms was just fine for us travelling with a 5 y old. The location is ok, just a few steps from Tivoli. But beware of the area! There are quite a lot of drug addicts and prostitues roaming the streets. The breakfast was not included in our price (we thought it was)... more

I've been to Copenhagen before and always stayed at a large chain hotel since I travel alone and am nervous in a lot of places. I had this hotel recommended and was completely delighted to stay there! It had a charming lobby and the staff did everything to make me feel comfortable and made sure I had every need met.... more

This hotel is not very good. The rooms are extremely small for the price we paid (comparing to other European hotels we had stayed in over the last 4 weeks). We had 2 Adults and 1 child and once the roll out bed was in the room - we barely had enough floor space to walk. The staff were not... more

We booked 3 First-Lady rooms for the week-end. The hotel has a nice, well-decorated lobby and located in a walking distance to Tivoli garden. However, the rooms are old and worn down: the wooden floor is scratchy, the towels are paper-thin and the kettle is really dirty. The toiletries are very cheap (and they were advertised as incentives for First-Lady... more

The First Hotel Vesterbro wins kudos for being an oasis of pricing sanity in a very expensive city. For approximately half the price of a small room at a high end hotel like the nearby Radisson SAS Royal, I got a comfortable, decent sized room in a handsomely designed hotel. The styling is modern and clean, although the furnishings have... more

This is a fantastic 4* hotel. Fast check in, very nice room (if a bit on the small side) with a pretty good, modern design and furniture. I didn't hear a single peep at night either, so we were able to sleep well. Breakfast was also nice, with a nice out area for eating during the summer. The highlight of... more

A hotel which is well located in the centre of Copenhagen. Perhaps I was unlucky. Arrived late at about 10 pm and the bar/reception area was full. It took ages to check in and when I entered my room it was already occupied. Had then to queue again to get another room. The room was adequate - very small. Checking... more
