Medium sized, English styled hotel. I have booked a double room which is still quite small for one person. Some maintenance is required: tap in teh bathroom came of and the water evacuation for the shower was stuck. Good breakfast and wifi.

Stayed here for a long weekend and throughly enjoyed it. The weather was really bad with a storm taking place, however we were very warm and comfortable in our room which was small but nice. The breakfasts are well worth it.

My experience in this hotel was great. It is very well located, right next to Nyhavn and from the city center. Arriving from the airport is easy too, there's a metro station from a walking distance (about 10 minutes). Lots of restaurants around and it's really close from Kastellet and the mermaid statue. The service was really nice and the... More

This was a truly surprising hotel for me. It was small, but it had a nice cozy design of both the room and the lobby. I was surprised by the quality and variety of the breakfast buffet but also by the hospitality of the reception staff. It is located in a very nice area, close to the city center. Stayed... More

We stayed one night at the Copenhagen Strand as an extended flight layover. The hotel was located right on the water in the Nyhavn (new harbor) area. It wasn’t too far from the Kongens Nytorv station. The gal at check in was very nice. We stayed in room 1122, one of the ‘budget’ rooms, so it was very small. There... More

We requested a quiet room and the hotel obliged with one at the end of the corridor. It's a weird shape with strange angles, with an extra single bed for some reason, no room for a bedside table, but still seems bigger than some. The room's looked into directly by the flats opposite, something city dwellers don't mind but we're... More

Really enjoyed my stay here. Service was friendly, atmosphere nice (particularly sitting in reception on some comfortable couches having a beer). Wifi very good. Rates good value and Location easily walking distance to all major areas of Copenhagen City and Train Station. Wouldn't stay anywhere different if I went again.

Stayed here for two nights. Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. We had a superior twin room which was ok. The beds were small but very comfortable. The downside was that the neighbouring office looked straight in ! Breakfast was buffet style and very good. Hotel looked out over canal and in good location for the centre and just round... More

Staying here for the weekend at the moment with my family, we have a 3 bedded room, very warm and cosy. Comfortable beds, clean and well presented. Breakfast is typical Danish, lots of variety and choice, excellent service and night quiality all round. Certainly recommend staying here again.

Room is nice, clean. Special vouchers were offered which could be used for the drinks in the bar or minibar 200 DKK worth per night). Nice location by the harbour, pretty good breakfast. I am not sure if they have a good restaurant there, but there is a standalone place nearby right by the harbour with French and Indian cuisine,... More

Staying in Indre By (Inner City)

Neighborhood Profile
Indre By (Inner City)
This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.
