We took the train from the airport (very easy, track 2 any train). Get the Copenhagen card and it is a free ride. We arrived very early in the morning and knew our too wouldn't have been ready but we were allowed to store our luggage there while we went out sight seeing. Our room 605 had a Tivoli Garden... More

After reading some other guests review of this hotel, I just have to write my opinion of this hotel. Came back yesterday after 3 nights at this excellent establishment. Very convenient for trains to and from the airport! Arrived very early, just after 08.00 in the morning. And my room was luckily available straight away. And a very nice room... More

If by some unlucky set of circumstances you happen to find yourself in this hotel, run the other way. Leaving aside the fact that it needs some serious restoration (when was it last painted? in the 1950s? take a look in the emergency stairwell if you want to experience what someone must have experienced during the Siege of Stalingrad), the... Perfect location, right next to the central station:- the best starting point for all trips. Our room was in the 4th floor facing the non-existing "patio". The room was cozy and very quiet, absolutely no noises of other rooms. Even thoughThe hotel got a special atmosphere, which we enjoyed, Some of the furniture, the bathroom, carpets, and wallpaper was much... More

First of all, location is good for tourists. Being a former citicen of Copenhagen there is a lot of cooler areas you should visit. That being said the location is good. Upon checkin we arrived with a quite tall car, the receptionist said that the could't help us with parking and gave us a smile. I told her that surely... More

This hotel is very close to the city center, and to the railway station. Which is both good and really bad, cause you can hear the trains all night long when you have to keep the window open cause the airconditons doesn't work. The hotel is old, which could be nice if it was in a good condition. The tiles... More

We had a very pleasant stay at the Copenhagen Plaza. The location is perfect, vis-a-vis the central station, the best starting point for all trips in the central city or out of town (for example visit to castle in Helsingor). The room was very quiet, absolutely no noises of other rooms, guests or the main street (window to the patio).... More

This is a hotel with 100 years of history that has accomondated everyone from Mick Jagger to Gerald Ford. You sence the history as you enter the hotel and in the hotel lobby there's golden plaques with names of the most prominent people that have stayed there. Well, the glory days of the hotel may be long gone, but the... More

This hotel was absolutely disgusting. Black mold throughout the bathroom, especially along the ceiling. Plus, grime, dirt, and dust are everywhere. The hotel is clearly dated, and, given the black mold, is probably unsafe for the sick and elderly. There is no shortage of hotels in the area, so you'd be advised to select a better, cleaner alternative!

Excellent central location. This is a lovely hotel full of character, where the rich & famous stayed in days gone by. There are plaques in the reception area listing some of them. The bar room decor is absolutely beautiful & not to be missed. Check in was fine, receptionist helpful Our spacious, comforable room was over looking the railway. It... More
