I much appreciated the central location, cosy room and friendly staff. On the negative side, the air was quite stuffy. Keeping the window open at night helps provided one is not sensitive to noise. If one is not bothered by a slight smell of sweat emanating from the wall-to-wall carpet, I can recommend the hotel. I repeatedly experienced technical problems... More

This hotel is very impressive, it looks solid , historical, it is on the Harbour. Half of the rooms have a view on the harbor, and although I hadn't booked one on this side, the reception managed to fit me in room 576. It was very kind of them. The window was awfully small, but had a view on the... More

Impressive historic architecture and modern design. Delicious breakfast! Nice location facing the waterfront and the new Opera house. Close to the Amalienborg Royal Palace. At the moment there are construction works in Kvæsthusmolen Pier in front of the hotel, however we were not much disturbed. Although there is a free wifi in the rooms, it sometimes disappears.

The hotel has great location with the water and close to Nyhavn. Good breakfast and a decent bar. Pleasant staff made both check in and the stay memorable. All in all a very good choice for hotel in Copenhagen - I will be back next time for sure..

My husband and stayed here for a night after our Baltic Cruise. It was a lovely hotel and very conveniently located along the main canal. We hired the bikes at the Hotel and enjoyed biking around the city. A great way to get around as it is very flat. I found our room a little small - but ok for... More

The noise outside is very loud - windows need to be open due to lack of A/c so hence very poor sleep. On both occasions we tried to take dinner in SALT the restaurant we were refused on the basis that the it was full even though it was half empty. The lady managing access was very rude and officious... More

I enjoyed my stay at the Admiral, the view was really nice and it was conveniently located for access to the downtown Copenhagen area and shopping. However I was staying here for an extended period and this was not my first trip to Denmark, so it was a little frustrating not having any capabilities to really eat or keep food... More

Spent 3 nights here in May on a short break. The hotel is well located particularly for Nyhavn and the Amalienborg palace but nothing was too far away as we hired bikes from the hotel reception twice and it was a fantastic way to get around the city, see the sites and get to more remote parts - this place... Worst stay ever in Admiral which is normally a good hotel. Room 103 is very hot during summer reason why window needs to be open however it is jut above taxi station. Hotel didn't want to change but nights were horrible.

We stayed at the Admiral for a recent business trip I was on. I have mixed feelings on the hotel to be honest but overall it was in the top half of the places we stayed on the trip. The good: Great location for walking to just about everything. We walked as far as Tivoli and Christiania. Those are both... More
