A perfect hotel, an absolute gem, with incredible views, atmospheric rooms, and sumptious beds and contemporary bathroom. Lovely and spacious public areas, and a sumptuous buffet breakfast which is amongst the best I have ever eaten. The location is handy for the Amelianborg Palace and Nyhaven, and the Citadel but a fairly long walk from the main shopping area. Lovely,... More

Visiting in July, it was quite warm and there was no air conditioning. We finally got a small fan to work on the second night. Wifi is totally unreliable in the guest rooms, though it worked well in lobby. It was expensive, but Copenhagen in general is expensive.

We had a Junior Suite which to be honest wasn't a suite at all it was a room with a mezzanine bedroom and a couch bed ! When the couch was down as a bed the room was very small and there is no drawer space so we were kind of living out of our suitcases. The room was on... More

Very comfortable rooms, friendly and efficient service, great location, very nice terrace and generous breakfast. Possibility to rent bikes (well maintained, with locks and front basket) for sightseeing: very useful and convenient. A good choice whilst in Copenhagen for business or for pleasure.

it is a beatiful building in the best area in the harbour. rooms are big and nice. BUT i moved the couch a bit to get to the plug and found empty beer bootles behing. unacceptable in my opinion - this hotel is quite expensive and proper cleaning is a MUST. Also some renovations are really needed - its quite... More

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location, but that is it sadly. The room was small but cosy, no cupboard space for your clothes as this was taken up with a safe and a drinks fridge! We stayed for three nights and had to live out of our suitcase, if you are at this hotel longer than three nights, this can... More

We have stayed at the Copenhagen Admiral Hotel for four nights. Our room is on the water side with a great view of the Opera House and the canal. There is construction outside but it was not distracting and should be completed in a few months. The rooms are very comfortable, nicely appointed and the massive beams, from its time... More

Very nice and charming hotel on the water. Very friendly staff and accommodating. Loved sitting on the deck at night enjoying some food and drinks. Great location to walk Copenhagen. Close to shops, restaurants, and sites.

The Copenhagen Admiral is in an historic building once used as a vast storehouse by the Danish Royal family. There are high ceilings and dramatic large exposed wooden beams. It is also quite dark and a little dingy. The windows are small which presents a major problem when trying to ventilate the un-airconditioned rooms when it's warm. Add to this... More

Excellent location, beautiful view, historic building. Salt is a superb restaurant, and the akvavit bar is a very nice touch. Nice breakfasts -- although overpriced, and I wasn't clear until checking out that breakfast wasn't included in the already high price of the room. Price, given the exchange rate between the dollar and the kroner, is the main problem.
